BIG4 Cape Jervis Accommodation & Caravan Park

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a lovely powered site with shade for the kids and was close to the amenities. It was a nice quiet relaxing time which we really enjoyed. One thing I will suggest is maybe in the future adding another washing machine or dryer for the busy times of year as there was quite a queue in the guest laundry.

This is a former sheep station circa 1847. We stayed in a cute cabin on the property and felt like we had the whole place to ourselves as it was a little off -season. The animals are so fun to meet and watch.

Such a great place to stay while waiting for ferry is BASIC for people who complaining but has what I need kitchen gas working fridge working (cold 🍺)bring your own no shop around. Toilet clean and relax place $37 for unpowered site is questionable but what’s cheap today.

We took a cabin for an overnight stay! Very easy self check-in/check-out process and the room was clean and tidy! You can’t go wrong with Big4!!:)

Beautiful location with clean and tidy toilet blocks, plenty of room per site and pet friendly. Absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back again in the future 😊

Good spot to stop before or after the ferry. Clean, good cabins, gravel driveway.

My wife and I stayed on Wednesday 28th June 2023 and were very very impressed. We usually stay at “cheap and cheerful” and these people took the “cheerful” to next level ! I felt like we were at home - separate bed room - lounge/tv room and a large bathroom. Not super modern but warm and clean and I felt at home!!!

Great peaceful place to stay, had everything we needed and more! We took our retire greyhound who enjoyed himself as well walking along the beach only a short drive away.
Wonderful to have so much quiet!

This place doesn't need 5 stars, it was just perfect and we loved cooking our steak dinner in the CAMP KITCHEN shed at Sunset.
We loved it !

Great view to Kangaroo Island. Beautiful sunset. About 5kms to closest beach. Dog friendly. Great rustic Camp Kitchen with everything you need. Staff very helpful when we needed to stay extra days at a busy time. Thank you

My partner and I stayed at this delightful location for 1 night and were absolutely thrilled… Self check in for us notoriously late travellers was a treat… Gorgeous views, rolling hills and the nice surprise of waking up to the ocean. 👍🏼. A Swift walk to the amenities and shower pressure just like home…a must visit destination for avid wanderers.😃

Real value for money! The staff was amazing..property kept clean and neat ( the reception area where yellow bins could be better). The rooms are comfortable, the television reception is amazing if you are in for some night time TV. The bathrooms are great. The 24hr kisok is handy and prices are fair. I would go again. I came here from Google reviews in regards to the devonshire tea. They were delicious and did not disappoint. I didn't stay here but the lovely lady in reception allowed us to walk around the property to see the old shearer's quarters dating back to 1840. The park is set amongst lively old trees with an abundance of wildlife. I adored all the birds on the property and would loved to have stayed here. This type of caravan park is my cup of tea..quiet and relaxing similar to European campsites.

What a pleasant suprise on our way to Kangroo Island. Super friendly and helpful staff. Found this place extremely quite, clean and comfortable, so had a really good night sleep. Thank you BIG4 Cape Jarvis, you set an awesome example for others. Look forward to staying again.

Lovely relaxing camp ground. Nice sheltered spots behind the stables for campers. Nice grassy sites. Beside the highway but generally very quiet. Amazing sunset views over the water. Nearby Blowhole Beach and national park is an absolute must see. In my opinion one of the most amazing secret beaches in Australia

Very comfortable, lovely and clean. Would certainly recommend with only a 2 minute drive to the ferry. Great area within the grounds for children to play with powered and unpiwered sites also available. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Thank you.

Such a great place to stay with so much character. We had checked in after hours and the process was so quick and easy. Rooms are clean and lawn very well kept. Will definitely book in again for a longer stay

From booking to end of stay I was kept freely informed with information of the types of accomodation I could book to places to visit. I arrived late and had a new experience with a self book-in in which I was guided through. Had I read instructions better I would have been fine. My room felt very welcoming as the heating had been put on before my arrival. The room beautifully presented, clean, ample cutlery and just the correct amount of amenities. I wished I could have arrived earlier to visit the gardens and animals. I will make a point to revisit to take advantage to see some of the additional walking tracks. My purpose was to do walk 1 of the famous Heysen 1200km walk. Thank you for a lovely start to my short stay away.

Genuinely friendly and helpful reception. We stayed in a delightful renovated stone cottage. It was clean and well appointed with 2 minor faults - no where to hang clothes and we would have liked a draining board next to the sink. The cottages are well spaced so very quiet. The water quality in this area is not great, so not a reflection on the park but bring some drinking water if you can. Value for money 5 stars.
