The Cape Jervis Ferry Terminal has a check in desk which was quick and seamless as we had already purchased out tickets. There is a cafe in the terminal with drinks and food. The service by all the staff was very efficient and friendly. The cars board the ferry first and then the passengers. My partner drove the car on to the ferry when directed by the staff and it was easy to follow directions. Toilets at the terminal were clean and tidy and there were also lots of brochures, maps and information about things to do on Kangaroo Island.

Great experience. We arrived early and were allowed to board straight away at 4pm instead of 6pm. Lots of help from the crew to reverse our caravan and car on. And the reception ladies told us to board the ferry to wait for my son to come up to the lounge area. And we sailed straight away. Very comfortable cruise over to Kangaroo Island.

I have been quite happy about the service and amenities here... I usually get a bit nervous driving on, and a couple of times have asked them to take over and park the car for me, which they've happily done... Also asking for the best way to handle a bumpy ride,, lay down, and stay in the middle or so or at the back, with the fresh air and a side to throw up...lol

Electric cars get temp tested and get on last, ahead of the yellow line, which is okay by me as I am first off!!

Love love love our trips to KI via the Sea Link. So easy. Lovely people at the check in always welcoming & cheerful same as the reception onto the ferry & the crossing. Pop the car on than relax for 40minutes in comfy chairs. Have a coffee & cake going over & wine, beer & a pasty coming back. Very clean & great sitting or walking around outside if weather permits. Been across when its been very calm & a hot day & seen dolphins also had stormy crossings with fog & found this equally enjoyable. Wheel chair friendly. Kids enjoy it too. Thanks to all involved in this fabulous service you do a great job linking the mainland to the treasure that is Kangaroo Island.💜🤍💚

Really nice terminal, very spacious and the staff are great. Note - Only the driver is allowed to drive the car onto the ferry, and pets need to be walked on (on leash of course) and do not remain in the car.

There's a small restaurant and area for coffee. Toilet facilities within the terminal too. Staff are really helpful and it was a pleasant crossing. Both terminals are great and beautiful to watch as you leave/arrive at port.

Great ferry service, they were happy to put us on as standby as an earlier crossing by 2 hours.
Very helpful getting the BT50 tucked away, and getting off at Penneshaw.
Great smooth ride

Great ferry service from Cape Jervis to Kangaroo Island. Friendly and helpful staff. They do an amazing job loading and unloading us from the ferry without a scratch after squeezing us all in like sardines. Lol.

This is the inevitable choice to drive to and back from Kangaroo Island. Parking needs to follow the directions and be very careful. Take the ferry for about 45 minutes, which is a great experience.

Amazing service!
I would like to praise the crew for their amicable customer service.
We freaked out when we understood we had to reverse our camper trailer inside the ferry. The girl on the parking was lovely and reassuring. The crew helped us and everything went well ! Thank you guys you have been amazing !

Only way to KI if you take a car and caravan friendly staff it can be a pleasant trip across some times you see dolphins ECT. Other times it's very rough depends on time of year.

Nice and spacious terminal. Easy to get onto ferry for both the driver and passenger. Staff direct the cars on with ease. Welcoming staff. Coffee & light snacks available in the terminal. Toilets also available and a second toilet block is situated on top of the hill. We went for a walk and took pictures of the lighthouse whilst waiting to board.

Well organised, smooth ride. Perhaps trying harder to prevent idiots from sitting in their cars, idling the engine prior to disembarking would be good.

Great crew and staff that assisted to efficiently board. Only driver allowed to drive on, all other passengers must board separately via the terminal. Very tight parking so know your vehicle dimensions. If you are bringing a hire car, be extra careful and ask questions of the crew if unsure. A small gift shop at the terminal.
