Cape Jervis Lookout

This lookout gives a very good view of the port, light house, and the windmill farm next door. There’s a binocular installed that gives a very good view of kangaroo island too. There’s enough parking at the dead end. Not very busy. There’s a restaurant at sealink port if you need to have some food.

Absolutely worth the detour, highly recommend. Better to visit this lookout for a bird's eye view of the area, rather than go to the lighthouse

This is a cute lookout with pretty views on the way to KI. Binoculars are supplied for free so you can get a good look of the water. Ample space to pull over.

Plenty of parking, such a gorgeous place, worth a drive.
Theres binoculars on the lookout which makes the view as mesmerising. You see the view of kangaroo island which makes it even better. Unfortunately we went on an overcast day will definitely return in summer.

The cliff next to the lookout we saw approximately 15-20 adult kangaroos hopping worth an experience of a lifetime and all pf a sudden they were running towards us.

Seeing those kangaroos on the cliff overlooking the ocean makes u say this is Australia in its true prime.

Great to get an overall view of the sealink terminal & see kangaroo Island in the distance. Can be windy & there are no facilities, just a photo opportunity.

With Kangaroo Island in the background, the sunset is no less than magical. :-)

Lovely lookout, the drive is gorgeous just before this as you drop down from the hill giving a lovely view of Kangaroo Island over the crest. You can spend hours here watching the ferry coming and going and seeing the vehicles being loaded including large trucks in a narrow space.

Perfect place to stop for a short while after disembarking from the ferry to allow the crowds to die down before the trek back through Myponga and Aldinga back to Adelaide. The (free) binoculars provide good views of the harbour and incoming ferries. Easy access road and lots of parking.

The turn-off is just on the right before you head down Cape Jervis hill and into the township and to the KI ferry terminal. The view is awesome, and you will feel like you can touch Kangaroo Island

Lovely views to Kangaroo Island and it was interesting watching the big trucks waiting to load onto the ferry.

Very nice now good layout, great binoculars, lots of visitors now stop to view the port, Sealink Terminal and K.I.
