Great place to get coffee and something to eat. Lovely friendly people run the HB Coffee Shop. No better place to stop in for a break, sit a while and enjoy fabulous freshly made food or takeaway if you like.
My favourite place.

Definitely, the most delicious bacon & egg roll alongside the mocha that surpassed 3 Bean Cafe, Two Deer Cafe, and Guzman & Gomez. I highly recommend this cafe to relax and enjoy the Serenity.

Amazingly, the owner managed to get them at very affordable prices.

Hi, I have been going to this Cafe for may years now and I've always been impressed with there food, drink and service.

They are very friendly and approachable people, who have on many occasions, been flexible and or accommodating to my requests for food and drinks.

If you are in this area and your wanting breakfast, a cake, or pastry, a nice sandwich and or coffee, they can provide it.

They also provide some other food and household items in their store, if you don't want to travel to a larger supermarket, they might have what you need.

This is an easy 5 stars for me. I often drop my child at the school just minutes walk away and pop in for breakfast and/or lunch.

The coffee and food is always excellent! Staff of extremely helpful, helpful and kind to their customers needs.

This small cafe and corner store are well worth a visit.

The bacon and egg roll (with cheese) is to die for, coffee is some of the best in Sydney... and I work in the CBD, this place is better!

Parking can be a challenge but worth the effort.

Very friendly owners who are generous with their portions. They did burn my ham and cheese croissant once but offered to make a new one (whilst apologising profusely). A great little cafe and corner shop after a nice walk or hike.

Harry and Brenda’s Cafe in Hornsby Heights has got to be the best coffee in Sydney. After living in Hornsby heights as a kid growing up watching the small business (a convenience store) slowly struggle I moved away to the city and became a big fan of brunch at numerous quality cafes in the inner west. When I moved home to save money I noticed a cafe had begun operation in the small corner shop and went to check it out. I was wonderfully surprised at how delicious the Bacon and Egg on Turkish bread breakfast was and how it complimented the amazing coffee. I asked the owners their story and they told me they had decided to open the cafe and go to Barista classes to learn the inside scoop on what customers love. What they learnt was that great coffee and quality service was what created repeat customers and I can safely say that they have met these requirements and exceeded them. I have been going back almost daily for my morning coffee... and breakie (a guilty pleasure).

The atmosphere is great, sunny outdoor alfresco dining mixed with a family orientated setting is great for ones emotional well being. On a sunny day there is friends, family, cyclists, dogs and their walkers, elderly couples, tradies, mums and young ones all joining together to enjoy a nice cuppa. On a cold/rainy/windy day the cafe provides blankets to warm up under and that’s a great personal touch that I believe shows they really do care for their local friends.

As a University student I also enjoy the quiet table settings that allow me to study for hours on end while chatting with local friends and of course Brenda and Harry who are always so happy to see me. I no longer even need to ask for a coffee they just say ‘the usual!?’ When I walk in and we have a nice chat, if you’re lucky you may even get a free vanilla slice which I think is reserved for the truly devoted customer haha.

This is a great family run small business that really works hard, Brenda and Harry work seven days a week and also provide great service. After speaking with them today about how life was going they told me that at times the cash flow can me slow but after I suggested they do some online marketing Brenda stated that she is happy with the number of customers as it allows her and her staff to create top quality food and coffee as opposed to rushing to meet demands and losing that quality. That was refreshing to hear and something you don’t see everyday.

I thoroughly recommend this cafe to anyone looking to enjoy a nice coffee and just relax.

They make ice coffee, milkshakes, thickshakes or you can stop by to buy some cold drinks or stuff in their grocery store. Harry and Brenda is really nice.
