Giddy Goat Cafe & Yarck Cottage Accommodation

Really great spot to stop and have a quick bite to eat. The dim sims hade here are absolutely wonderful.
If you are driving past, stop in to grab some food and or a drink (they were serving home made lemonade when we stopped).

Stopped by this place for a quick bite thinking it was a small take away only stall from the side, not realising it was an actual café with great food! I got one of their burgers and surprised they had vanilla slices (and 2 different flavours as well). One of the best vanilla slices I've had. I ordered both the lemon and raspberry one with the raspberry one being my favourite. I will definitely be returning here next time.

Would recommend to anyone in the area to visit.

Best dim sims I’ve had anywhere and friendly service!

You have to stop at The Giddy Goat for a salad sandwich and a cup of the best ever mulberry yoghurt. All the food looked fantastic and the lady running the cafe was lovely. Yarck may not look like much but it’s a must stop in country Victoria.

Good coffee, food and sweats.

This is a common stop for people passing thru Yarck on the Maroondah Highway and one of the best places you will find around this area.

There is a large amount of seating areas and parking out front. The garden area is nice to seat and eat in, or drink your coffee.

The goat image in the toilet was a fun touch!

Our regular stop on the way through to Beechworth. Everything is sensational. The raspberry vanilla slice is almost worth the drive drive Melbourne. Well done! Ps. Resident dog loves a pat :)

Stopped in on my way through from Phillip Island World Superbikes. Coffee was really good along with the fruit cake. Service was fantastic and they were even up for the chat. Will definately call in again next time I'm travelling through Yark.

Found this cafe by accident on a road trip from Bright to Melbourne. The place is amazing! Smallest cafe but very busy. We had their superfood breakfast. Brilliant and a much needed healthy meal after a week of rubbish! Coffee was great, food amazing, staff super friendly and the cafe/garden immaculate. Highly recommended!

Great food, friendly service & good prices. They use lovely fresh, local produce in their food, the coffee is good and the family who run it are really friendly! Quite a few places to sit inside and out. They have a lovely garden to the side too. Worth holding out for on a long road trip.

A very welcoming cafe for travellers with a unique variety of cooked food to have under their umbrellas or on the road. Make it your must-stop place when travelling 2hrs out of Melbourne travelling North East.

A great place to stop for a coffee and something to eat on your way to the High Country or heading back to the Big smoke.
The have a nice range of fresh local food and their Famous Fish and Chips are definitely worth grabbing.

The highlight of a drive to Melbourne or return is a stop at the Giddy Goat and tge homemade m8ni dimsims and vanilla slice.

Really enjoyed our meals here the other week. Returning from Mansfield for the weekend, we stopped in for a meal with our kids. They handled our various allergies and intolerances and there was even a few vegan options that tasted pretty good. The little logic or moral puzzles on the cutlery cans was a great talking point. I even appreciated the local artists on the walls trying to sell their art.

The Reuben sandwich here is sooooo good, cannot recommended more highly!! Closest thing to Katz’s deli outside of New York. 🤤🤤🤤

We came, we saw, we ate the Ruben. Get the Ruben. Seriously. GET THE RUBEN. Never been so happy to have my expectations exceeded. Did I mention get the Ruben?
Update: Came back a year later for another Ruben. Will come back again, and again...
