The Restorers Barn

I’m not in the market for vintage doorknobs or light fittings, so why did I go in here? Not sure, but I’m glad I did. Along with the promised items for people doing home restorations are plenty of fun and quirky vintage items, displayed with great style.

Nice place to go! Great antiques and old fashioned items to look at. You spend a good 30 minutes looking at the interesting items they have for sale!

Fascinating collections of old household items, hardware and tools - always worth having a look around for that 'missing item' of yesteryear!

Wow, what an awesome place. The range of stuff these guys have is impressive. I could literally spend hours in there going through all the old (good quality) tools, furniture, insane amounts of door furniture, lighting. It's all Period style as well, it's a place I will definitely come back to again for anything I need for my place. Even if it does take an hour or so. I've never seen anything like it. My wife was so patient with me :)

We booked in a time to meet with Steph and Ian to discuss the options that were available for fitting out our entire home with door furniture. We knew what we wanted, but had no idea what was possible.
The personal consultation meant that we could take our plans and work through what was required room by room without interruption. Steph and Ian could show us examples of everything they were recommending and how it would all work together. Their knowledge of their products and the size of their range is huge!
The ordering process was easy, and we received our order within days of placing it. There has been regular contact throughout and we have received fantastic after service follow up.
It's been one of the best customer service experiences we've encountered and would highly recommend anyone to take the time to book and spend some time with Steph and Ian. I doubt you'll be disappointed!

Absolutely the greatest place to go if you need something to finish that restoration project. We spent well over an hour and barely covered half of the building. Great for a browse or antique bits or just a trip down memory lane. Loved it and a must if you are passing through Castlemaine.

Extreme wealth of knowledge and stock, booking a consultation appointment is well worth it. Unparallelled!

A great place if renovating an old house or just looking for something different they have nearly if not all you could you want... Original or replica... You can spend hours just looking at all they have...worth a look....

This place is full of strange antique odds and ends. Chandeliers, chandelier crystals, door handles, sinks, light switches. Worth a poke around!
