We are very happy with Kids Academy Arana Hills. My daughter started when she was 13 months old and is now in the Junior Kindy Room. The centre is always clean and tidy. We are extremely happy with my daughter’s educators. The room leader is lovely and educators are awesome. The centre director and assistant are very approachable and I feel like the children are all safe and well looked after.

Thank you to the Rainforest room 1 team our baby girl seems so happy with her time at Kids club excited in the morning at drop off. She has really developed so much within her last 6 months since commencing. We appreciate the support of Dani, Keelie and all the rainforest room team they do such a great job.
It has made the change back to work so much more comfortable knowing our little girl is happy and getting the regular updates makes is easier and getting support for any questions.
Thank you very much to all the team for making our day care experience positive 😊

We have just enrolled our 1 year old son and he is settling in at the moment. He loves to explore the beautiful Rainforest 1 room and the outdoors playing area. The facilities in this centre are amazing! They have put in so much work to create a fun and beautiful environment for the children. The nursery has 2 cot rooms as well, which is great!

The staff is also amazing, everyone I've met so far, from the Centre Director to all the educators have been so lovely. They have all made us feel so welcomed and they go above and beyond to help our son settling in. I am really really happy with my choice of daycare for my son!

Our 1 year old daughter has been with Kids Club Arana Hills since they opened and she loves it. We have noticed so many positive changes in her in such a short time. With the help of all the lovely Rainforest room educators, she has really settled in well and adapted to her new environment.

The team have been very welcoming and we have appreciated their caring and kind approach. The communication has been great and we can see that they are really trying to get to know our family. We feel confident that our daughter is being very well looked after and we would highly recommend KC Arana Hills.

I am so happy and satisfied with the level of care and attentiveness the educators have towards my son.
I was very apprehensive going back to work and leaving my son for such long days for the first time but it has made me feel at ease with the updates of photos, meals, sleep all tracked on the app that I can check all throughout the day.
The centre and facilities are amazing my son gets so excited to get out of the car and go in.
I absolutely love how stimulating the daily activities are and the focus on his development i have seen massive improvements with his communication, sleep and learning to feed himself.
All the educators are amazing and go above and beyond to make my little man feel comfortable and safe!
I am SO happy I enrolled him
Thank you ladies for all your hard work and looking after my little man!

Kids club Arana hills have been fantastic to deal with, it’s been a really reassuring transition from stay at home mum to back to work mum! The educators and centre director have been super supportive of both parents and our son.. settling him and using the app to connect with us multiple times a day which has made life easier for me at the moment. The centre itself is world class .. the food looks amazing and everything is included so no stress in the mornings, lots of toys and outdoor activities that look very fun ! Overall great centre and experiences thus far. Special shout out to Mel and Jade .. superb job ladies.

We switched our daughter daycares after we were recommended Kids Academy by a friend and the decision to move was without a doubt the right one. The new centre management at Kids Academy is incredible. Such an attentive and warm team, the facilities are clean and beautiful, the menu for the meals is always a hit with my daughter and how good the communication has been is a big one for me! We are very happy and grateful that we made the change. Our little girl is flourishing and forming lovely relationships with the educators and other children.

My rating does not apply to Miss Brea, Miss Georgia, Miss Jodie, Miss Chloe or Miss Sc’lene - Brea and Georgia have cared for my child for more than half her 9 month life and they became family to me. The way they care for the children in the nursery is truly outstanding, my daughter loves/d them so much but due to a few issues regarding lack of illness notices and inconsistent policies for sick children attending the service. They are now planning to overhaul that over 6 weeks and I truly hope that happens so no other babies get sick. It’s normal for babies and kids to get sick in care, but my child is constantly sick due to negligence by the parents sending their kids sick which is very difficult to police - so I do understand that it’s part of the gig. My feedback would be -
- Promote Miss Brea and Miss Georgia or give them a pay raise because they’re the a team, it’s going to be so hard to say goodbye to you two - Mia will miss you as much as I will - maybe more
- hire more staff or have some on call regulars to maintain proper ratios without the poor educators running themselves ragged.
- be transparent at the earliest convenience of any illnesses within the centre (no later than 24 hours)
- report ALL illnesses when a child has more than once diagnosed virus, infection etc
- more on site excursion style activities for the babies in RF 1 and 2
- the cots in cot rooms are very close together - not sure what the rules are but it’s quite tight
- proper pick up handovers like we provide at drop off
- attempt to retain staff long term

Overall it’s a lovely centre still finding its feet being almost 1 year old so hopefully with time they find their groove

If you have a child who is anaphylactic, has an allergy or is special needs, avoid this child care at all costs!
Check other reviews, this centre is full of empty promises when it comes to developmental, health and safety for your child. They have a high staff turnover for a reason and the direct leadership here is atrocious!
The Director is argumentative and difficult to deal with when questions are asked about pretty well anything and is constantly allowing their policies to be breached putting children at risk. From allowing allergen food into my child's room mere weeks after banning it from the centre, to not following and being in breach of implemented Allergy Action Plans or their own Medical Conditions Policy. As well as staff not taking the EpiPen with them when moving downstairs for afternoon play. The lead educator in Ocean openly stated it's not their responsibility to recognise basic allergy symptoms even after First-Aid training and does not seem to care for the health of my child who was exposed for two weeks straight! The centre refused without escalation to the Area Manager to investigate what was triggering it.
Other issues in the past have been a head injury that required medical attention which took over 40 minutes for a phone call and no concussion checking, using known allergen food as sensory play with my child resulting in an allergic reaction, to an ambulance not being called for a near anaphylactic reaction on another occasion. I had to take my child (who was actively reacting and passing out) to the hospital myself. And recently picking my child up with poo in their underwear that had obviously been there for a while, and this certainly wasn't the first time. Also, don't even think about toilet training your toddler before the age of two as you will be ridiculed by the director who believes otherwise.
I would have taken my child out sooner if I could, thankfully we are somewhere better now.
This review has nothing to do with Affinity itself but this particular Kids Club and how it is currently being run.
The two stars are purely for the rest of the staff and Area Manager who are lovely and caring people that deserve a better place to work.

Do not send your child here! I left without giving my eight weeks notice, as it was UNSAFE to leave my child there. During the first week, I had to contact the director about a safety issue. I persevered for six months, trying to give the centre the benefit of the doubt, but all the issues became too much. Obviously with COVID there is a need for staff absences, but the staff turnover at this centre in particular is alarming. Every day it felt like I was dropping my child off with a stranger, whether it was relief staff, or a new educator because the previous ones had left due to issues. Head office are very easy to deal with when you are enrolling, but once you try to leave, it's an absolute nightmare. They did not process my final payment of fees upon leaving, which I was unaware of, then six months later they sent a debt collector after me without any prior communication. They also lied about refunding my bond. Head office saw my Google Review and FINALLY contacted me - he would waive part of my fee if I deleted this review. Disgusting.
