Went there with no expectations, but I have to say the fish and chips were absolutely excellent! Also I loved the "Works" burger. Homemade and super tasty!!
The owners are both chefs and have just redone the exterior, which looks beautiful and welcoming. Would come again anytime!!

We stumbled across this place and it is the best cheeseburger I have had. Home made Pattie’s with plenty of flavour and the burger was full. Kids loved their fish and chips as well. Staff were so lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

We got takeaway on Good Friday. The place was packed and staff were running, however our meal was delicious. Fresh crunchy chips, perfect batter on the Barra and the calamari was delish. Will definitely be going back again.

First time visitors and there is zero to complain about. Great service, the renovations are fantastic and the food is incredibly fresh. The Mahi Mahi was amazing. Can't wait to come back

I absolutely love it here. Such amazing food. We ordered food tonight and it’s super busy so it took longer than usual but that’s completely ok. A small business just trying their best :) if you’re reading this and thinking of posting a negative comment about your wait time tonight, I reckon you should practice a little patience. Stopped off for a quick bite, and the food was absolutely amazing, I got the crispy chicken burger as well as flat head fish and chips, the flat head was awesome and the chips are just how you want them warm crispy and very affordable, but the burger was were things took a turn for the absolute best, this was the best burger I've in my life, absolutely beautifully cooked, the flavours were out of this world, as soon as I took a bite I knew I had to leave the best review I could, service was very nice to, he asked what I wanted and was quick and simple how I like it, my partner had whiting fish and chips with a pineapple fritter, the this was by far the best pineapple fritter I've had, I sadly only got a few bites

The two young girls that served us were very polite and friendly. We had Barramundi and it was sensational. Very reasonably priced too

Just stopped by this place on the way home from a day out. What a lovely atmosphere, kindest staff and great service. The lady that served us helped entertain our little baby daughter so we could eat and the burgers were absolutely DELICIOUS! We’ll be driving this way more often and will recommend to others. Absolutely the best calamari I have had and will have in my life, I'm a big lover of calamari but it's always to stringy or flavourless but not here.
The owner is an amazing bloke that has really good energy and is always trying to get new and fresh seafood into his store.

If you’re peckish and in the Mapleton area, swing by this fish and chip shop.
It’s a quaint like bayou style shop nestled near a creek with outdoor seating available.
We bought the meal for 2 and all of it was mouthwatering. Thick hoki fillets and melt in your mouth calamari. That aioli tartare sauce is revolutionary. It was so good we came back the next day for 2nds.
Huge shout out to the young blonde girl who served us. She’s a superstar. Her manners and customer service need to be highlighted and acknowledged. It’s a rarity, especially in Brisbane CBD.

So refreshing! This is not your average fish and chip shop. The new owners have breathed so much life and love into this place. The interior itself is fresh and lovingly decorated, but most importantly they place an emphasis on real food! Homemade sauces, homemade burgers, fresh fish with grilling option, locally sourced ingredients and some bits are even home-grown. It’s clear this crew care about our connection with food—proud to share where it comes from and how it’s made. This is rare in the restaurant industry and rarer yet, when it comes to fish and chip shops. I had the fresh snapper and it was grilled to perfection, with real, drool-worthy, garlic butter. Love it! 🙌

Can I say this is the BEST fish and chips we have ever had! We had the fresh snapper
grilled with garlic butter cooked to perfection! I normally find grilled fish is often overcooked and dry but not here! The kale and cous cous salad was so fresh. Chips crunchy and fresh! We will certainly be back and worth the drive!

We spent a lovely balmy evening dining under the fairy lights and overlooking the beautiful lilyponds. The grilled barramundi was delicious, as was the plentiful Greek salad. The service was friendly and efficient. A great experience!

Works burger was fantastic! Young girl who took my order was super polite and friendly. They looked super busy but the meal still came out in a good time and the grilled fish was beautiful. Thanks guys we'll be back.

I had my first meal here tonight and it was great. The snapper was perfect and had chips, calamari and sea scallops. The potato scallops were the best I've had in a long time. Staff were lovely too.

Tastes great. Short wait for food. Perfectly cooked seafood, crispy chips, and tender calamari. New owners are doing a great job. Tabouli chickpea salad tastes great, super refreshing on a hot summer day.

Had a lovely evening sitting on our rugs behind fish tails. 4 families with small children running around having fun. Meeting people we new from Mapleton. Who also had the same idea. Get out into the fresh air. Enjoy your choice of great seafood, fish and chips or burgers. Which was beautifully cooked. Great little takeaway.
