Mountain View Café

We arrived at 8am and sat outside for the stunning views. We had little birds visit us while we had coffee and breakfast. Breakfast menu was fairly standard but delicious. As recommended, we tried the scones, which were well worth the calories.
Prices were very reasonable. The service was great. Atmosphere relaxing.

I got the Vegie Big Breakfast - which was absolutely delicious ! - as well as a coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice.

Service was fast given how busy the place seemed, and staff were friendly and attentive. It was a little too cold to sit outside but the view is still stunning from within, with the veranda overlooking the mountains.

Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

We enjoyed the lunch. Simple toasties, delicious homemade soup, and very tasty pumpkin salad. The cafe was run efficiently and the outdoor seating includes a view of the Glasshouse Mountains.

Best Gluten Free Burger I’ve ever had in my life! So good we questioned if it was actually gluten free and we couldn’t believe it was! We also took home a gluten free treat from the cabinet that was to die for! Sooo many Gluten free options, they also offered coeliac precautions. All set with the most beautiful backdrop! We couldn’t have asked for more. We will drive back again, even if it is a 2.5hr drive! 😜😅😂

The food was quite good here. Loved the environment, both indoor and outdoor. It gets a bit crowded during holidays.

Stopped in and watched the rain roll in over the mountains. Staff were so friendly and 10/10 carrot cake! Perfect spot to relax and enjoy the views.

Mountain View Cafe not only has great views but their service and food match the atmosphere. The salmon omelette is delicious, I highly recommend!

This cafe is awesome! We had breakfast here and it was so good we went back in the afternoon to try their delicious cakes and slices. The staff are friendly, plenty of parking and amazing view. I would highly recommend this Cafe if you're in Maleny. You won't be disappointed.

We visited amazing Mountain View and the glass house Mountain and then there’s the cafe with the food to die for, well I feel I went to heaven. The best avocado 🥑 I have ever had, the wild mushrooms 🍄 so juicy and full of flavour. All the food we ate was so good 😊 now the cakes 🍰 every thing is made here on the premises.
I will be back before I leave this town for cake and coffee ☕

Beautiful views from the cafe, they offer gluten free options that are suitable for coeliacs which is great. Really relaxing atmosphere

Love this Cafe, the food is always great and the staff are super friendly and lovely, no view today due to low fog, but it's usually breathtaking when clear.

You can go for a bush walk after lunch or just go through the touch, see, feel and listen info area close by!
There is also a kids play area and park land
With picnic tables and chairs!

Beautiful location overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. Food was great, however we did have a few meals & drinks being brought to our table when we hadn't ordered them - table numbers would probably sort that issue out.
Food was fresh and tasty and portion sizes were good, but a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it.
As it shares location with Mary Cairncross Park and information centre, parking can be limited, but there are no restrictions to parking on the street.
Lots of wildlife roaming around, so no dogs/pets or feeding of wildlife allowed

Cheesecake a la mode with a latte extra hot. Friendly attentive staff. Gorgeous view. 5 stars.

The wonderful waitress who noticed the tiniest leech on my husbands leg and gave him salt and a Band-Aid to deal with it. Then did exactly the same for a small child and all the time smiling and pleasant. She most obviously loves her job.

What a beauty of nature with cafe. This cafe is such beautiful view and they serve hot & delicious food. Their mountain view big breakfast is the best. There is parking. Unfortunately, there was heavy fog when I was there.

A group of young staff were absolutely on the ball on a busy Sunday afternoon. The scones and cream were a delicious end to our afternoon of site seeing! The views are incredible 😊

What could be better than a Cafe with spectacular views of the Glasshouse Mountains with an amazing rainforest to stroll through and work off that piece of cake?
The seating allows very generous spacing between tables. Choose from indoors or outdoors. Or perhaps get takeaway and sit in the park to enjoy.
The milkshakes come in old fashioned metal milkshake cups and are very generous unlike some of the expensive cups of froth you get in some places. The coffee is also really good. We were only there for morning tea so didn't have any food but I did try some of my sister-in-law's apricot cake which was nice.
Be sure to walk upstairs to the lookout and if you have a,spare 30mins, the rainforest walk that starts in the rainforest centre is well worth it. Mostly flat gravel path or purpose built board walk. You are sure to see a few paddymelons.
Mary Cairncross Park has tables, shelteres, bbq's, toilets and playground.
