Penrith Museum of Printing

What an informative experience! Donation of $10 for entry and hours of knowledge sharing with some really passionate volunteers. They have print machines over 500 years old! Was a wonderful way to spend the morning.

Tiny little place, thought I would be done in 5 minutes. I was wrong! The staff there took time to explain the history and how printing works. Now, the high light of the day, they fired up the machine and showed us how they ran. Extremely friendly and informative. Definitely a place to check out.

This was a fabulous day out and well worth the trip to Penrith. The staff were great, and the knowledge they have between them is unbelievable. They may have to move or worse, still close down. I hope that doesn't happen as their is so much history in that shed.

Great bunch of people working here, very friendly and insightful. Full of stories, tips and tricks. Great to see so many different printing machines and even better to find out they're all operational!

Very informative museum run by a group of volunteers who really know the products and are proud to show it off, a fabulous insight to how the printing trade evolved very worth a visit for all ages
