The staff were very pleasant right from the start of my call and when seeing the lovely vet who was very sweet to my old little dog. She listened to my concerns and was more than helpful. Was surprised at the cost for my consultation it was extremely reasonable. We have just moved to Cairns so I am delighted I have found a great service xx I would recommend this clinic highly

In the last 4 months I have had to say goodbye to 2 of my precious, geriatric pets. Tom & the nurses & admin staff were extremely accommodating when I just turned up without an appointment, a sobbing mess. They gave me as much time as I needed & never rushed the process. They treated me & my animals with dignity, compassion, empathy & professionalism.

Staff are friendly, polite and professional showing genuine care for our pets.

NQ Vet was able to see me quickly when my dog was having trouble breathing. Even though this was my first visit, I was treated with compassion and professionalism by all staff. Would recommend these guys to any pet lover.

Just moved into the area, so this was our first visit. Our dog is very anxious and not dog friendly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They cleared a room for us to wait in -away from other dogs, Tom took time to let our dog get used to him before approaching him and gave him treats and pats at the end of consult. Our dog left wagging his tail.

I have used this vet service for a few years now & they are really friendly , great with my Rottie & my last dog Loki , thank you we will continue to bring Our dog here they are amazing highly recommend

I am SO happy that I decided to take my 3 dogs from another practice to North Queensland Veterinary Service! The Vet..Thomas(Tom) was so great, he was empathetic to our situation, caring to both me and my pooch and very thorough! Aswell as the nurse and both receptionists! The atmosphere in the waiting room and surgery was so warm..truly calming and joyful, helped by Ebby and all the staff. A truly unique experience, very happy with my decision to move my pets here :) Thank you All. Highly Recommend!

Tom, Maddie and Vet Student were great with my 2 horses today! My testing young Gelding is very difficult to give needles too and the team were very professional and patient with him. They worked well together and we eventually managed to sedate him ready for his first dental. I trust the entire team 100% with all my fur babies health needs. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I initially chose this surgery due to their quality to price ratio.
Ended up being way beyond my expectations and will be our forever vet now.
Explained everything to me thoroughly, really listened to my questions and explained everything to me thoroughly. Understood my worries no matter how silly they must have seemed to them and all with a genuine smile on their faces. Could not recommend them enough.

We are traveling at the moment, we dropped in for some supplies, for our 15 1/2 year old sick dog. We found them the best to deal with, of all the 6 veterinarian services we have used while traveling on price and very understanding staff. Thank you.

It was a very pleasent visit and everyone on the team made me feel relaxed when my dog went into surgery. They sent a photo when he was in recovery and updates 😊

First vet I've been to that has different entry & exit points. Staff were able to read my Dog & changed their body language. Made us both very comfortable. Issue was seen to very promptly by the vet on duty.

I've been to a few local vets in the Southern Cairns area in the last 10 years and the North Qld Vet Service has been, in my opinion, the best for highly professional advice & price. I'll be sticking with NQ Vet Service.

Lovely experience so far. All staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our Tahlee was treated very gently and seen to within a couple of hours from initially calling. Surgery organised for 2 days later and she was sent home with some pain relief so she doesn't suffer in the meatime. Would recommend 100%

North Queenland Veterinary Service have provided care for all my pets including cat, dog and horses.
The care of my animals is always exceptional. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. I recommend the very highly.

Very happy with the professional and friendly service. My little old cat is not a fan of vet visit but she was remarkably calm thanks to the gentle treatment she received.

I took my puppy in for his vaccinations and I will definitely be going back, they were very friendly and made me feel very welcome, as an owner of my new puppy and being unsure about some things, they quickly helped me get on the right path and gave me all the information I needed without making me feel bad or like I didn’t know what I was doing. 100% would recommend
