Amazing service and great food. Best value for money you can get. Highly recommend if you're looking for some homey food. We had a lot of food and was surprised by how cheap the final bill was. The owner let us customise the thalis to get the curries we wanted and swap out rotis for naans. We were a large group, but still got our food fairly quickly.

Very good food at great prices. The owner was nice and friendly, he helped us order and it tastes great. We couldn't eat it all so doggy bag for lunch tomorrow.

Wow first time here and so much to choose from. We had the $19 all you can eat even made fresh nann for us. Was absolutely amazing. Such good value for money. Absolute beautiful owners. Had a lovely chat and were always accommodating on what we needed or wanted.

Me and my partner received the food in almost no time! We’re used to ordering and waiting 40 minutes but the wait time was 15 - 20 minutes! It’s insane. We got a butter chicken, rice and naan. It was the best butter chicken I’ve ever tasted, the flavours were so subtle and delicious, not in your face at all! This is all my opinion but damn is it a good one. We will be coming back here nonstop!

Best food ever, had a buffet of mix veg and non-veg. We were sitting and saying amazing, what if we had lassi. And the guy made us salty lassi as well.

We LOVE the food at this place! It's our go-to for indian takeaway. The chef makes the naans and parathas fresh to order and you can totally taste the freshness. Highly recommend the masala paratha, dhall tadka and chicken korma. I just had his food now and it inspired me to write a review, cause I'm in food heaven! :D

I recently visited Cafe Taj with my wife. I had a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place. I was surprised that they make fresh sugarcane juice as well. We had one and it was so amazing. They offer the best of food that is absolutely clean. We got a chance to see pictures from different places in Nepal, especially Darchula. As the owner was Nepalese, we had a great time with him.
We had freshly cooked naan bread and Puri which was fabulous and tasty. I remember eating back in Nepal. I appreciate their warm hospitality and is undoubtedly quite delicious.

Great Place for Nepalese and Indian food. We will be back again soon for sure.

Not even done eating and I just had to review this restaurant! The food is amazing… totally authentic and delicious… but even more, his joy of cooking really comes thru the food. This guys vibe is amazing, can’t wait to come back!

We were a group of 10 people but the service was quite fast and the food was delicious and freshly made! Loved the thaali, especially the naan and the eggplant potato dish! Would recommend 10/10!!

Excellent staff. We were a massive group with a few dietary requirements but the chef was very flexible and helpful with the menu.

Beautiful food. Delicious and hot. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. My husband raved that it was his best Indian meal in ages! Thanks to the Cafe Taj Express. We will definitely order again when we are visiting Geelong.

Mohan is an absolute legend. I once showed up while he was closing, but fulfilled my order without a grimace. Still got served really good food. I've been a regular ever since.
Worth the wait, especially when the Rotis and Naans are served hot & fresh.
Highly recommended for vegetarians too.
