Best food I’ve had in Australia even though it’s not a fancy gourmet place. Simple but delicious dishes, right close to the beach. The kangaroo meat was particularly good

If you are in Apollo Bay, this is one of the best restaurants going around here. We had the pork belly and fish of the day. The food was excellent, I can't fault any of the dishes. Mark, with his 14 years of experience, and his quirky laugh, provides the best service. The food is worth every dollar. Amazing!!!! We will be hear a few more times.

Just great. Unusual but excellent food prepared by Ruby. Great wines (including Albariño). Such great warmth and fun from Mark the owner/manager. Highly recommended.

How does this place only have 4.2 stars. Food is amazing! So delicious. Such a good menu too - loads of delicious and healthy options in a town that offers a little too much fast food.

We had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. Staff were cheerful and friendly and ambience was relaxed - great playlist too.

The signature dish is bouillabaisse in Australia for sure !

I have travelled the world especially Marseille ( the home of the Algerian origin bouillabaisse ).. Cassis, Nice, in South of France , from the mid sixties, onwards and have had dozens & dozens of bouillabaisse, The Sandy Feet Apollo Bay, has what I would say , is Australia’s best ever bouillabaisse, PERIOD.

The other meals , steaks , entrees are excellent.

Mark and his crew have a brilliant full service restaurant “Café” , excellent service, wonderful ambience , champagne, best ‘Cab-Sav’ you coukd ask for.

So I highly recommend stsy in one of the many hotels, apartments, and enjoy a fabulous evening at Sandy Feet with Mark.

This place is a gem. Highly recommended. Mark (I believe the owner) was super friendly and helpful with the orders. Food tasted amazing. Simple and absolutely delicious. Fish of the day was so fresh and well prepped that imho is a must-have here. Pair your food with a good bottle of wine (reasonably priced) on a cold day, and simple perfection! Thanks Mark and hope to see you again soon.

The best meal you will get in Apollo Bay.
We've been coming here for years and have never ever been let down by the service or food. Do yourself a favour and book a table.
PS - mum says the wine list is exceptional.

We often dine here and bring our friends. You won't go home hungry the meals are good size n tasty. Try the mussels in tomato n chilli or Mark's chicken dish

Heartwarming time at Sandy Feet.
We needed a cosy, homely atmosphere with a warm, simple and good vegan/veggie meal.
Here we are: a soup of the day, a warm damper served with eucalyptus butter, a complementary green salad with a delicious vinaigrette, a glass of red from the region.
Oh, and lovely staff. Felt replenished.

(The place also offers more veggie meals, revamped classics and regional creations with catch of the day and sea food for the non-only-veggie people)

Sandy Feet is one of our favourite restaurants. We dine here most Friday nights and cannot fault any dish we have ordered. The chicken parmesan is the best dish, and the seafood bouillabaisse is also delicious. Mark is the best host, very attentive and loves a giggle or two. The chefs are fantastic, always willing to add or subtract an ingredient or two.
If you want an amazing meal that doesn’t leave you hungry, try Sandy Feet. You won’t regret it.

Came after the kitchen had closed and no restaurants would serve. They kindly offered to cook us two chicken parmas which were delicious and came very quick. Lovely service.

The seafood marinara is one of the best I’ve had! Service is immaculate. Kids ordered nuggets and chips and she rated it 5 stars

Oops. Lasagne was so delicious, I forgot to photograph it before I had nearly finished. Very yummy. Muesli was very good too, and nicely presently. Clean, friendly, healthy food.

It was definitely the perfect greeting for our arrival in apollo bay, the food is very delicious with a generous portion, the restaurant has that personal own ambience that is unique and warm, and the owner Mark is very nice and friendly and one of the highlight of our dinner is as I said to him “your laugh is the highlight of our dinner”
