Champions IGA Grovedale East

I can’t say that I have ever felt the need to leave a review for a supermarket, but that changed today! I was served by Moe, who was so pleasant and polite. He packed my bags for me, taking care to ensure that nothing was squashed. Not only that, he then loaded my bags into the trolley! It was such awesome old fashioned service, and made for a refreshing experience!
I usually dread my weekly shop, but this encounter had me walking out the door with a smile on my face 😊 thanks Moe!

Great range of products, including some that the big guys don't have. Reasonable prices and great service everytime. You've got yourself a new customer.

Great local shop!
Bottle shop is great, produce section is always fresh and stocked, they have their own butchers out the back and their own bakery, they might not be the biggest supermarket but they have mainly everything you need for a weekly shop. The staff are all friendly and lovely.

Great independent supermarket with a surprising large range of produce.

Great little store with a bottle shop too. The parking lot is a bit of a pain due to renovations (adding poles etc) I haven't had a problem parking, but i do know you have to be careful turning into that lot as people will come around the roundabout and if someone is infront of you and unable to park properly then it just builds traffic on the road and created a higher risk of an accident

Friendly staff in store and over the phone. Great access for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Great range of those favourite items you forgot or extras you need without having to fight your way through busy shopping center's. Only compliant which is minor, carpark is not overly large and can get a bit congested. They also stock some items that the larger supermarkets don't carry.

Great customer service was very helpful when I just needed an extra hand while dealing with my child, who was just a little bit excited in the shop

Staff are very friendly & personable. This store is terrific for items you cannot find in other supermarkets, the moment you walk in, the fresh produce & the meat & poultry available is abundant. The best bagels ever. Thank you👌🙏😊
Easy parking, great location

When one is nice to the people serving you, you get the niceness given back. Ive never had a bad thing to say about any of the employees. They have all been lovely and helpful. Its always clean and the fruit vegetables and deli, always look well stocked and fresh.

Helpful and friendly staff. Shelves always stocked with new and exciting products. No-self serve checkouts here.....the shopping experience is complete by a checkout assistant scanning and packing for you! 🥰🥰 Love that 👍

Awesome older style supermarket. Has lots of items you don't see in Coles or Woolies anymore. Is a tad dear compared to the big two but if you like a more casual shopping experience this is the place to go.

I don't think I've ever shopped here & not got all I wanted. Really nice helpful staff too
