Absolutely a form 5 stars from me!

This food is perfectly cooked, hot and tasty. They absolutely DESTROY other restaurants we have been too in flavour, consistency and great service.

As some would say ‘do yourself a favour’ and ‘do try it’.

My partner has Thai relatives and has spent time in Thailand, and thinks very highly of the food at Malee Thai. Rich flavours that you can tell are cooked as a labour of love.

I’m really not sure about the lesser reviews on here. Either they don’t enjoy food as I do, or they are used to food that you stand at a counter for and receive in a paper bag. The food here is flawless.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to try their food.

The view is exceptional too! If you can’t do a sit down meal, pick up or delivery works too.

Cheap and cheerful venue on level one. Staff were lovely and made sure we were warm. Ordered an entree, mains X3 and all the food was delicious and great value

Had lunch with 2 friends today. We shared our dishes and it was just superb. Mixed plates for entree and the Seafood Green Curry was delious. The sauce was spot on. As for the Crispy Pork Stir-fry. It was top class. Thankyou and see you again soon.

If iconic Thai dishes and a splash of Malee difference, I expect from the chefs wanting to cook with their own interpretation and quality. The wines match really well and are priced as great value. The ambience upstairs on this warm night was delightful. Highly recommend this authentic experience.

I have been going to Malee thai for a couple of years now, and am always satisfied with the service and food quality. I regularly order over the phone, for a takeaway meal and pick it up myself (order earlier on weekend nights!). The vegetable and/or chicken pad thai noodles are always incredibly delicious and always plenty of veg/meat provided. Vegetable spring rolls are fresh every time, nice and crunchy! I have never had a negative experience here :)

The best Thai not only in Highton but the best Thai in Geelong.
The staff truly do compliment the amazing FOOD!

We booked last minute for dinner and got in straight away. Even though there were quite a number of take aways and people sitting in the service was quick and all the staff were so friendly. The food was easily the best Thai food I’ve had. The home made wonton and satay chicken skewer were so delicious! We also had red pumpkin curry, yellow curry and satay beef all of which had fresh delicious vegetables and flavourful sauces. And sitting on the balcony at sunset was really lovely. Definitely worth driving 1 hour round trip and we will be back!

The food was prepared quickly, and was very good. The vegetables were cooked well and the meat was good. I had the coconut rice, which seemed to be made differently than at other restaurants and I cant say that I loved how it was done, but it's up to personal preference.

Do yourself a favour and order the Malee Special. Prawns and calamari on a sizzling plate. Absolutely divine. I've never eaten calamari that was so perfectly cooked. The sauce was such an umami explosion. Staff were super friendly and attentive too. Such a vibrant busy restaurant. So glad it's our local. 10/10

A really beautiful little place with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Having eaten here many times I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite, a date night or a group catch up. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The sticky rice dumplings are a personal favourite for dessert.

We were two couples having a New Years Eve dinner sitting outside on the veranda. The staff was super accommodating and friendly. The four of us shared all three courses, a mixture of vegetarian, seafood and meat and every dish was fantastic. We have eaten here before and will definitely come back

One of the best Thai food restaurant in Geelong. The staff are friendly too,usually busy during peak hours so worth booking a table. When I went today, they had problems cooking the jasmine rice so they served us coconut rice without extra charge - ended up loving the coconut rice. If you are someone who can take heat- go for hot when ordering curries. Usually order tom yum and red curry.
You might want to expect slight waiting time, not with starters but it had happened twice that my mains took over 30 min to arrive.

We were very well looked after this evening for a group birthday booking. Food was delicious. Especially yellow curry!!!!

The place was awesome and the food was great! Lovely staff and great ambience. We ordered the Mixed Vegetarian Entree, Tom Yum soup and the Pad Thai Noodles. Best Thai food in the area. Would visit again. 🙂

The food is sensational and the speed of preparation was second to non. I ordered direct through the new Malee Thai online ordering platform from their website. It was very easy to use. I will be back soon.
