9 Kings Thai Restaurant

I enjoyed very much the meal, and even learned a bit of Thai kings that this restaurant named after. The food was great. Recommend coconut rice going with green curry. The owner was very nice, always checked out if everything was right for us. Will be back.

Best and most authentic Thai food that I have ever had in Geelong.
Closing on Sunday 3rd. March, for two weeks for holiday in Thailand.
The host explains most of the dining options and menu items before you order.
All dishes are mild unless you request hotter or cooler.
Generous sized servings.
Very reasonably priced: most mains are $22, or $24 for prawn dishes.
(Food corkage and additional drinks averaged $33 per head, but as it was our first visit we ordered one main per person.)
There were 8 of us dined and all agreed to return.
$2.50 p.p. corkage was reasonable, as we took our favourite wines. Soft drink and beers available.
The owner/chef (from Thailand) spoke to us, to get feedback about our experience: all positive.
Take-away containers were available to take home all left-overs, due to size of servings (they were just as delicious the next day, for lunch).
Free Parking is on street.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

Fabulous discussion from genuinely knowledgeable and respectful owner (apol we didn't catch your name), before we ordered regarding specific dishes, chilli and heat, flavours and combinations allowing us to make our best individual choices. None of us disappointed, one has been living in Thailand for past few months, she enjoyed the duck and extra chilli on the side. Restaurant almost full, great to see on a Tuesday night. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Suburban shopping strip gem with plenty of parking. Everything we tried was stunning, we'll be back for sure.

Such an authentic taste and takes me back to being in Thai land.
Our favorite dishes are Pad see ew, green curry with prawns, yellow curry and Roti bread.

Beautiful, fresh, fragrant, authentic Thai.
Texture of the fish cakes was perfect, lovely stir fry full of fresh veggies, fragrant Tom kha soup, service with a smile. So thrilled to have Such a wonderful Thai restaurant so close to home.

Absolutely beautiful food. The people that have recently taken over this lovely little restaurant have many years of experience in Thai cuisine and it definitely shows. A true asset to the area. Been a regular for many years, always enjoyed it, and even better now.

Had to wait 30 minutes for food. We ordered the red curry duck and stir fry. It was worth the wait. So delicious and authentic. Yumm!

My favourite local takeaway, prawn pad Thai is DELICIOUS, roti bread that is flaky and moreish and VERY good curries. Speedy service and authentic dishes.
