Vets of Geelong - Geelong West

Nice clinic, great team. Reception area is a bit small so it's harder to keep your pet away from the others, but not too bad. They have some nice treats on the desk for your pet while they wait. The consulting rooms are a nice size and the vets and nurses are very patient and good sources of information.

Highly recommend !
The staff are amazing. My cat needed urgent dental work, never been to this clinic before. Right from the start, from squeezing my cat in for surgery, to the personal touch text messages and follow up phone calls, I was kept updated throughout the process. This is not my normal vet but it will be from now.

Yesterday my beautiful 14yrs old fur family member had to be put down. Dr Rachael Johnstone was so kind and came in on her day off to help send Cougar of to Rainbow Bridge from home. She even brought a candle with her to light. It was heartbreaking but the most beautiful experience anyone could ask for. Thank you Rachael for loving Cougar and making her last moments on earth so special being surrounded by so much love.

We moved to Geelong and our first mission was to find a great vet for our fur family. Thankfully we came here and have been extremely thankful for their knowledgeable service and personal approach.
The wonderful reception and vet nurses remember our animals names and are always happy to help if we ring with a question. A huge shout out to Sarah the wonderful vet nurse who goes beyond to make sure we know our animals are in good hands. She is extremely great at her job and still so caring towards all of our animals.
When we went away for the first time since moving to Geelong they were extremely lovely and helpful to make sure our pet sitter could bring them in on our behalf and they would make the decision we wanted if needed. I am so thankful for this clinic and love how we always get the same staff who know our pets and their quirks.

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to my most amazing friend and confidant. The staff was empathetic and respectful and I felt very supported. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed and their follow-up today was heartfelt and personal. I would give Vets of Geelong 10 stars if I could, and I thank them from the bottom of my heart for treating my beautiful cat and myself with such care.

This is the BEST vet ever. They are always so kind and never make you feel rushed. James is so knowledgeable and helpful. We travel from Melbourne just to see James. The staff always efficient and helpful too. Literally the best pet care we have ever experienced!!

We began dealing with Vets of Geelong a couple of months ago after our Cavoodle suffered several bouts of severe gastric upset. From our first interaction with Brittany we felt that we had found our vet team in Geelong. Diagnosis has been complex,, but Josie and all the rest of the staff have been determined to understand what’s going on and how to treat and manage Rosie in the future. An outstanding practice filled with dedicated, compassionate, professional staff at every level. We feel very lucky to have found them.

Always very friendly staff, great at answering all my questions, always a great experience!

Fantastic, caring, well priced service. From the very first call I made to enquire about my concern from my cats health through to follow up calls about her wellbeing after vaccinations - I can't quite believe how generous and caring the team at Geelong West Veterinary Clinic are. It is so nice to know that we can take our precious family member here and trust that all will be well with her and that we will never be taken advantage of financially. Have been to both Highton and Geelong West Veterinary Clinics and both have been outstanding with their friendliness, care and compassion towards both patient and clients. I was very satisfied with the care/treatment my animals received. I just received a follow up letter asking how my Dog is doing and some goodies/vouchers. How lovely

Visits to the vet can sometimes be a difficult experience, but Vets of Geelong (Geelong West and Highton) make it that little bit easier. Very friendly staff and welcoming.
I really appreciate the follow up calls the next day - a nice bonus touch!

Can not recommend more highly. The guys at reception are lovely, and the Vets & nurses really know their stuff. Our pets love them too ❤ Prices are extremely competitive also, thanks for looking after our little ones!

There is not enough praise to give this vet. So compassionate so caring and attention to detail. Then Sarah the nurse what can i say im lost for words. So understanding and caring. Great prices. Especially since losing my precious mom i bought this cat and shes helped me with my grief. Even though being on a disability pension ill go without as long as i care for my baby Aliki.Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. xox

This is by far the best vet we’ve ever had! We are new to the area and had tried a few other local vets but we weren’t impressed with any of them THEN we found Geelong West Vet Clinic and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Everyone there is lovely, knowledgeable & passionate. The clinic itself is bright & clean. I was blown away by the level of customer service & care to detail! After our first appt they called me the next day to see how our dog was responding to the medication & if I had any questions. They really care about what they are doing and I couldn’t recommend them higher.

Amazing team with amazing people. Thank you for all the support you’ve given me when my dear bunny Koko passed away last year in May. I still think about him until today. I will always be thankful of how supportive your team was when it happened during a late night. I had no one to help me and had no idea what to do. It was you who walked into the darkness and has become a very meaningful life experience for me. Thank you once again.

Fantastic service from reception right through to the Dr in the surgery. A Sunday appointment and I left the clinic feeling very comfortable that our little dog was going to be fine after a thorough assessment. We just moved to this area and the Geelong West Vet clinic will be our go to vet for everything in the future.

Very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend the Geelong West vet to anyone who needs any form of pet care.
Kind and caring staff who take pride in making you and for me my cat feel safe . The after care support is excellent aswell.

My poor cat was injured by a dog and we came here for surgery and the staff were amazing. So kind and sent me updates just amazing. Definitely will come back in the future if needed
