Wayne and the fellas at R&J Batteries in Moolap helped me out with a tricky one last week. Needed a battery for my 63 Thunderbird which has had real problems with cold start. They recommended a bigger battery than the one suggested for the Tbird. It now starts with one crank after 2 years of cold start issues. I had phoned around Geelong for help selecting the best battery but I must say the advice and also battery price at R&J was the best.
No hesitation in giving a 5 star review.

I am so impressed with this company. The other day my car was having problems and so I was trying to get to them as they test batteries to see if it’s the battery or the alternator. My car stopped around the corner from the shop so I rang them and they come to me. We worked out it was the alternator and my battery was completely flat. My husband had already jump started my car about 4 times to get it to where we were. They ended up lending me a battery to get home and took mine and charged my battery so when we returned their battery mine was charged. All this and didn’t charge me a cent. Highly recommend this company.

Rolled in unannounced today with a sick battery in my Landrover. The Guys couldn’t do enough to help. Knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful. After a diagnostic on the sick battery it was quickly and expertly swapped out for a good priced replacement. In and done in Formula 1 pit crew time! Thanks fellas!

I run a small motorcycle business and every time I enter moolap I always meet down to earth, humble, intellectual people, but these guys may be my favorite company to deal with. Even though my orders are small I always get above and beyond service and chats. Well done fellas see ya soon to complain about how another bike is kicking me in the **** !

**** Superb **** R&J Batteries were recommended to me and now I know why. I was blown away by the level of service I received from Chris. I only rang for a quote but I got all this knowledge on why my battery was not re-charging, how I could fix it in a cost effective way and personalised service to have it fitted. All this and the quote on the battery was the most competitive by far. Honestly, don't bother going anywhere else.
