Absolutely stunning part of the world...
Great vantage point to look over the rip entrance to Port Philip Bay. Spot the huge ships entering the harbour. Walk around the lighthouse and explore the surroundings. Well worth the trip.

Cannot believe I haven't been here before and bypass to go to Torquay and onwards. Such a gem. The lighthouse was closed so I'm unsure of waits during peak times. It was quiet and great. We were happy with a little walk on the pier and around the lighthouse. It's stunningly beautiful and very well maintained. Absolutely adored everything about Point Lonnie. The locals are friendly, down to earth too. We had such a beautiful time just walking and taking in the breathtaking views. So much magical parts of Mother Earth at our fingertips. I'll definitely come again for a longer stay and swim next time. 🙏❤

What a lovely, serene and refreshing spot it is! We went with my parents and there were very few people on Footy final Saturday. Pier is a gem and not too long, a paradise for fishing as well. The views of the lighthouse were amazing. It could be a great spot for photography lovers at sunset.

Definitely an amazing place. It wasn't crowded at all so you can spend some quiet time just admiring the beauty of the place. Will come back next time I'm in Melb.

It was a really good experience. We went in the evening. It was a cool and windy weather. Moderately crowded. If you enjoy long walks, this is a lovely place to visit. Just remember to grab a coffee or drink to enjoy your time there. I would recommend going in around afternoon if you are visiting during winter or on cloudy days. Evenings might be best for summers.

Point Lonsdale Lighthouse is a hidden gem that's worth the journey. Nestled away, it might be a bit off the beaten path, but the breathtaking view across the bay makes it an unforgettable experience. Excellent spot for snorkelling!

A fantastic view over the RIP- great watching ships come through. And awesome snorkeling just below the lighthouse off the rock shelf. Was foggy when we was there - the fog horn is so loud - an experience to hear it.

Point Lonsdale is a lovely little village, very chilled and away from the hustle and bustle of the main surf beaches on the Bellarine.

A must visit place, don't miss. Depending on the time of the day you might catch a Spirit of Tasmania as well.

Top spot with plenty of parking and amazing views out to sea. An easy and well marked path takes you only a few minutes to get to the lighthouse, or park in town and simply walk past the playground and follow that path.

Really brings back some memories, I was here 35 years ago and a lot has changed. There was a servo and milk bar about a kilometre back from lighthouse and nothing else but modest houses, now there's a whole shopping precinct and McMansions everywhere. In my eyes, tourism won, leave it alone - lost...

Man made structure standing tall through the rough seas. Point Lonsdale is an amazing slice of nature by the sea side. Sea breeze was clean and crisp.
