My wife and I recently had the pleasure of our second visit to Lon Retreat. We were lucky enough to get a coveted booking at the Spa. Our massage session was booked in a double room, offering both privacy and stunning views, enhancing the atmosphere.

The massage tables deserve a special mention for their exceptional comfort, making it easy to unwind.

However, the highlight of our visit was our masseuse, Jade.

To say Jade is world-class is an understatement; her technique, attention to detail, and ability to intuitively respond to our needs were simply outstanding. It was evident from the outset that Jade is not only highly skilled but also deeply passionate about providing a healing and rejuvenating experience.

The warmth, friendliness, and professionalism of the entire team at Lon Retreat and Spa always make us feel truly welcomed and cared for. Their collective effort created a seamless and wonderful experience.

To anyone looking for an exceptional experience, we cannot recommend Lon Retreat and Spa, and especially Jade, highly enough.

I visited the Spa last week for a 60 minute massage and had the best massage treatment I’ve ever experienced. The caring, loving and compassionate massage therapist Petra was absolutely divine and I walked away with relaxed muscles and mind. It was much more than a standard massage experience and I could not fault it at all. From the aromas, music, products and massage itself, 10/10.

I decided to treat my partner and I. I had to save for this weekend away as $2,000 is a lot of money for us and I must admit I stressed about spending this amount of money for 2 nights.
As we arrived I instantly relaxed, driving along the driveway and parking in our allocated car spot. I walked into the beautiful reception and knew it was going to be a lovely weekend. We were greeted by Ashley who was super lovely and friendly and welcoming. We opened the door to our Nimbus suite and was greeted by a beautiful water view and calming music which was a lovely way to start our afternoon. We hoped to have a swim in the mineral pool but it wasn't working so we went for a walk down a private track to the beach instead. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. I love how we could prepare ourselves but it was easy. No wastage either as just enough for 2. The plunger coffee, choice of tea, the additional products you can purchase from the pantry were wonderful.
We had an amazing nights sleep in the comfy bed with the beautiful linen. The next morning we went for a 3.8km walk around the farm, bird sanctuary and golf course. It was so lovely and well signed. We had massage which was divine; followed by a swim in the pool which was now working. As other reviews have said, we did find that we could hear other guests - shutting doors, making noise but it wouldn't turn me off coming back again.
We had such a lovely 2 night stay and whilst the rooms are wonderful, the spa centre is magical, for us it was the walking around the property, being in nature; the trees, the sea, the cattle, the swans, it was all what we came for, relaxing, luxurious and private.
Now I have to start saving again for our next visit.

Didn’t stay only had a massage but the attention to detail from the staff is just incredible, definitely a very very relaxing place to spend your days away and rejuvenate!

We've been to Lon a lot of times now and it always has the same calming, rejuvenating effect. Everything is tasteful and tranquil. The staff are lovely and very welcoming.

Firstly, the communication by the Lon Retreat team was exemplary, from booking my stay and treatments, understanding how to access the location, a menu should I choose to order, to a beautiful playlist they had provided for the drive, their communication was second to none. As soon as I made my way down the driveway of Lon Retreat I instantly felt like I had slowed down. Check in was friendly and a breeze and I headed straight into a beautiful massage which was a great way to start my stay. The massage was amazing and the staff were lovely and I could even enjoy my grazing platter in my room following the treatment. Upon heading to my room I had a great view and straight away you could tell the quality of everything. From the bedsheets, furniture and kitchen appliances to the bathroom amenities and things such as tea and coffee which were supplied. Every area of Lon Retreat is beautiful and feels welcoming, and while I saw a few people around it felt very secluded and that I could enjoy privacy. The weather wasn't wonderful so I didn't get the opportunity to enjoy the grounds, however it was a great excuse to just stay in my room and simply relax. I loved the breakfast that was supplied in my fridge - special mention to the yummy mushrooms that were perfect on toast. All in all, it was a wonderful and blissful stay for a person that needed some relaxation. Thank you Lon for the wonderful stay.

We have just come back from a weekend at LON staying in the Cirrus suite. What a wonderful treat it was and I'm already planning on making it an annual thing now.
Everything was perfect and completely unpretentious. Its one of the most relaxing and calming places I have been to in a long time. The detail that has gone into the place is so thought out and collaborative with the beautiful landscape.
The spa staff are professional and experienced and make you feel so relaxed and welcome. It was a highlight to hear the mooing cows outside the treatment room as we had our massage.

A totally immersive incredible experience. The facility itself is really something you just have to see, the pool the grounds and the rooms are all just magnificent but the massages and treatments are absolutely the best I have ever experienced. Georgia (I think) was my treatment specialist and she was literally a goddess who knew exactly how to operate. She was super professional and incredibly kind. She left me feeling like a child, safe and loved. Truly an experience everyone should try. Thank you to the amazing team who made our stay perfect on every level. We will be back!

I had a 90mn massage and it was just bliss. The therapist was skilled and made the experience so great. The atmosphere was relaxing with peaceful music and soothing smells. Just perfect!

What a dream Lon was. My husband and I came and stayed here for 2 nights in the Alto suite. Everything was impeccable from start to finish. We can’t wait to recommend this place to others.

Wow… what an absolutely incredible place. Our whole trip was magical from check in to check out! We booked a two night package and felt pampered the whole way through - from delicious breakfast trays, to relaxing massages, to beautiful grazing platters, it was all incredible. There is something magical about Lon Retreat and it’s the perfect place to come and take some time to unwind. We spent our days in the spa, the beautiful mineral pool, on beach walks, playing games by the beautiful fire place in the lobby and relaxing in our beautiful suite. We stayed in the Cirrus suite, it was very spacious and beautiful, with a beautiful breakfast bar overlooking the ocean, and an extremely comfortable bed. The staff are all so friendly, relaxed and warm and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back and we are already looking at available dates for our next stay!

Just finished the most magical 2 night stay at Lon. It exceeded my expectations - the spa treatment, the food, the atmosphere - everything was so thoughtfully put together. Every staff member was genuine and kind - we felt like they took such special care of us. Absolutely recommend Lon for a quiet getaway - you will walk away feeling like a new person. From the moment you step inside Lon Retreat you feel welcomed and instantly calmer. My visit today included a 'Blissful Marma' massage delivered expertly and professionally by the amazing Georgia. My body has never felt so good! Thanks also to all the friendly staff who made my visit so wonderful. Would highly recommend 😊

Two words: absolutely superb. Two of my dear friends and I went here for a spoily day on our school holidays (we are teachers). We were treated like absolute queens from the time we arrived. We were running a couple of minutes late arriving, however, they still gave us the full hour (and then some) in our mineral bathing before collecting us for our facials. They also brought us some bubbles and a sweet treat. By the time we got to the facial, we were already very relaxed. The room was stunning, with heated blankets on the beds if we wanted them, and I can honestly say the Rose Quartz facial is the best facial I have ever had, by a country mile! Both my friends loved theirs too. Thanks to Lon for a wonderful visit, we will definitely be back.

This place is heaven on earth! We booked a 3 night package which included breakfast one morning and a delicious dinner one night. We also had massages and a grazing board as part of our stay. We took advantage of the mineral pool and short strolls to the beach. Everything at the property is so well thought out and there’s so many cute spots around the property to sit and chill out in. My partner and I have never felt more relaxed in our lives! We definitely would go back 😍

Such a beautiful little place. Really makes you feel so calm and relaxed as soon as you arrive. The rooms are beautiful, bed linen next level comfort and the spa is of highest quality both having had massages, we were super impressed. The real log fire in main communal area really adds to the tranquility! This is our second stay here and just can’t wait to book our next trip!

The accomodation had great finishes, room was comfortable and the staff very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, having it to ourselves on multiple occasions during our stay (New Years).

We will definitely be returning
