Shingle Inn North Lakes

Had breakfast here this morning. The staff were fantastic and friendly they were also very busy probly because there coffee is delicious. The eggs Benny was super fresh the poached eggs perfect as was the toastie. The seats were comfy and the tables were clean and tidy. The time from ordering to receiving our meals was really good and the portions were a really good size. The cost was comparable to other cafes and I definitely felt like my money was well spent.

Usually the North Lakes coffee shop is fantastic, but since the new owner took over, he needs to learn the words, "customer service." I had a free coffee and instead of asking me if I wanted to use it, he just took it off my bill. I use my free coffee's on my off pay week. When I asked him why he did that, he wanted to know why I wanted to keep the "freebie." Felt like say it was none of his business.

Kristy and the rest of the team are AWESOME the food was fresh, the chips were fresh. I ordered a beef burger with chips. The burger has so much flavour was juicy and vegetables were fresh. The store was clean and tidy. I was served by Kristy the store leader and she treated me with respect and always had a smile on her face. All the staff were happy and always had a smile on their face.

Well done shingle inn will be eating here from now on

I bring my 82 year old Mum here every week. This is her favourite place. Food and coffee is very good. Shingle Inn Northlakes. Your staff are amazing and wonderful. We come back here every week because we know the service and food is of a high standard. Thank you🤗

My smashed avocado toast the best i had around, poached eggs cooked to perfection, coffee very well made and good quality brand. Service is always good with a smile 😊

The hot chocolate is to die for. I loved it . The milkshake was creamy and delicious. The flat whites came in a nice size mug. The caffeine infused my body and gave me a great buzz. Recommended! Staff are lovely! Nice good feel place for your morning coffee and other addictions.

My New Yorker sandwich was toasted to perfection with generous fillings.. My wife had a delicious chicken, camembert, avocado and mango chutney sandwich on VERY fresh bread. To our surprise the sandwiches were served with a beautifully presented side salad.. We each had the rich vanilla, caramel & malt milkshakes. The staff were friendly and the cafe was clean. We will definitely return.

Great Cafe, always kept clean and tidy, staff are very friendly and attentive. Usually come here for a nice cuppa and a chat. On the occasions when we've had food orders here they've arrived in good time and always taste delicious.

Very impressed today with all of our meals . The two burgers were tasty and well appointed. Our son's kids pancake was more than enough and fluffy yummy (his words 😀) . Coffee was great. Service was awesome .

Excellent service - My husband and I just came here for lunch and were both very much enjoying our bacon and eggs when my husband accidentally dropped his plate (he had eaten all of the bacon and had just started on the eggs) The staff were very kind, promptly helping to clean the mess and offered him a whole new meal. My hubby said thank you but I've eaten the bacon so just the eggs would be nice thank you - less than 5 minutes later they brought him an entire plate of new bacon and eggs! They never once made us feel bad or embarrassed and they were more concerned about making sure my husband was ok and well fed for no extra cost!

Consistently good quality food, great service and decor. Hard to get a seat at times as this restaurant is so popular. Thank you.

Only popped in for a coffee today but staff are always friendly and polite and the service is great.

Best Coffee ive had in a very long time, hard to find nice coffee that isn't burnt or bitter. Food was also great, better that Coffee Club.
