Swansea Beach Chalets

Says it all that my wife and I wish we'd spent a week here. Or perhaps a few months!

Sadly, we only stayed two nights but what a beautiful place. On arriving, we were able to check in three hours early and had a very helpful chat with reception about Freycinet, local eateries and wineries and nearby walks.

The chalet itself - wow. The view alone is worth the cost, but it's more than just that. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and the design is really smart. Having a balcony to eat breakfast overlooking the bay will live long in the memory.

Lovely little place - hopefully we will return someday!

What a fantastic location, great quality fully equipped chalets, and some of them facing the beach. Swimming pool, BBQ, kids playing area amongst some of the facilities.
Beautiful clean beach and the property facing East for an awesome sunrise.
If in Swansea a must stay here!

Absolutely Lovely stay. We stayed 1 night and it was perfect. View was outstanding and accommodation was everything that was needed. Loved the window in the shower looking out to the ocean. Highly recommend

We booked the two bedroom beach chalet because the one bedrooms were all booked out. Glad we did, view is stunning! Reception staff are very friendly and helpful, chalet is very clean and has everything you need including ac for chilly nights. Bed is super comfy. Location is great, local tavern is also walkable (highly recommend for dinner).

Beautiful location, great chalet’s, clean well equipped with everything you need. If you can afford it get the ocean view rooms, do it. We wish we had as the view is stunning. Loved the fire pits near the ocean, great idea.

We're almost done with our nearly 3 week lap of Tassie and this will likely be the winner for best accommodation of the trip! We spent 3 nights in "chalet #22" -- a studio unit and it was almost like a 1 bedroom as the living space is segregated from the sleeping space, which was terrific. Loved the covered deck seating area. The ocean front location is stunning. You can walk along the beach into Swansea, which was highly convenient. We used this as a base to explore the area. It is easy enough to get to Bicheno and Freycinet National Park to spend the day in each -- both are highly recommended. We loved having the view out to sea -- not all units have the view, so if that's important to you, reserve that type of unit specifically. The units are well-equipped. Beach towels provided, which was a bonus as well. The gals in reception were friendly and super-helful. Truly satisfied with our stay.

Stayed a night in a waterview chalet and wished we had booked a longer stay. Fantastic views, lovely chalet and great staff (including Barney, the reception dog!). Beautifully set up site within a short drive to the main street of Swansea. We hope to visit again!

Absolutely breathtaking view. Gorgeous, immaculate chalets, friendly hostess, fire pit at night, most beautiful beach ever. I can’t compliment this area enough. Loved it and didn’t want to leave.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom beachfront room. Service was amazing! The aircon was on when we arrived so the room was lovely and comfortable. The room is really well laid out with everything you could want! Fell asleep to the sound of the ocean. Was just perfect! Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff who are more than happy to go above and beyond for their guests (we also love Ted). We stayed in in one of the new waterfront chalets with views you simply cannot beat. The room was modern, comfortable, clean and quiet. Thanks for having us, we'll be keen to return soon for another relaxing stay.

Loved it! We stayed in a Premium Waterfront 1 Bedroom Studio. The AC was on when we arrived so the room was nice and cool. So clean and very comfortable. Bathroom had the best natural light I have ever come across. Had everything we needed, plus more. Well designed with plenty of space to lay out your things. Great view of the bay and a short stroll to the water where we had a fabulous swim. The bed was super comfy. This was a last minute booking and although a bit more than our usual budget, worth every cent!

Wow wow wow what a location, what lovely people and the rooms are just perfect. We had a one bedroom unit which was always warm and welcoming whenever we were inside. The fire pit was an unexpected pleasure on a cold and wet evening.
Would love to return to this little slice of tranquil paradise.

Excellent experience. As a woman traveling solo for an extended weekend holiday I was looking for somewhere quiet and safe and in proximity to freycinet. Swansea beach chalets was the perfect place to relax. The chalets are simple yet wanting for nothing. As I visited end of April and it was cool I was concerned I might be cold at night yet the beds are lined with heating pads! The beach access and proximity to town also make this accommodation perfect.

Wonderful location, peaceful, beach right in front of the chalets. Very clean, kitchen well equipped.

What an absolute piece of paradise, can not believe that out of all the places I've stayed over the years the best hands down would be tucked away in Swansea. This is the spot, this is our new regular stay, you must try it and stretch the budget if needed to get the beach front room
