What a lovely rustic winery with a long history, delicious wine and super friendly staff! 😁 We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting with Arlette who was engaging, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great time in Tassie! We walked away with the entry level Pinot which had a lovely jammy smell and a really enjoyable and unique flavour! Highly recommend a visit!

We visited three Vineyards around the area. This is the only one that charged for wine tasting but redeemed by purchase of wine.
We chose the $5 pp. They have good wines. We ended up tasting the $10 pp as well and bought two bottles.
Cellar door staff is friendly and nice. Good wine tasting experience.

Gala is my all time favourite wines, no matter what the occasion I have a bottle to exceed expectations.

We loved this place so much that we came back twice in a week. The Constable and the Syrah were to die for, but the entry-level Pinots were also beautiful. We bought 3 bottles! The cellar door is dreamy, set in a gorgeous old homestead, and the ladies running the show were lovely and knowledgeable (thanks Penny!). Highly recommend a visit (or two!).

The team at Gala provide all you could ever ask for. Penny delivered a passionate and engaging tasting. The wines were exceptional. The experience altogether was a highlight.

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Gala Estate, a big part of our beautiful experience was the service we received from Kelsey, she was warm, engaging, knowledgeable and fun, we couldn't have asked for better.

Our wine tasting host was amazing and went above and beyond with her service to us. She found out I was a moscato girl and gave an additional sip of their sweet Late Riesling which was to die for. On top of that, we told her we were going to Milton Vineyard for lunch but hadn't made a booking, so she called and checked on our behalf without us even asking her. Gala's Riesling and Late Riesling were our favourites.

Really lovely experience at this winery. Our host welcomed us warmly as we entered the beautiful cellar door where every where you looked had a stylish touch. We tried the red tasting which featured 3 Pinot noir and a Syrah. The tasting was very well organised and the wines were delicious. I would highly recommend Gala Estate as it has high quality wines and a welcoming feel. Our host was amazing!!!

Visited Tasmania for 3 weeks in 2019. Of all the wineries we visited Gala by far is the standout. Funny old house and tasting scenario but wines are superb. A must do on East Coast and not to be missed. Expensive selection and wish we could afford more but a highlight with wine and experience.

Make a booking. Definitely best wine experience that Tassie has to offer. Kelsey has the most comprehensive of wines/ the region.

Top quality Pinot as always! Lovely surroundings, such a quaint and photogenic cellar door! The proof will be in the pudding for Gala. The 2013 Amos was sensational, but the ongoing premium on cost needs to be validated by the highest quality year on year.

Quaint cellar door. The nicest wines we tasted in the area by a long mile. Ask about the ‘Tassie Dozen’ offer at each winery you visit.

Nice vineyard and the guy serving is so nice. Not too many options but the wines we tasted were great... They do charge for tasting though
