I recently scheduled an appointment for partner who had a work injury. We had been seen by Dr. Suleman who was very professional in assessing the injury. He even offered to lodge a workcover claim on our behalf. Given that it was the first time we had lodged a WC claim, Dr. Suleman took the time out to explain the procedure, what the forms are and what steps to follow from there. The receptionists were also very helpful in explaining the WC process to us. I’m very satisfied with the duty of care and customer service that was provided. Well done Reception and well done Dr. Suleman! Thank you for treating my partner. We will be coming back for further appointments. My partner and I thank the clinic staff!

Dr Anis and Dr Amin are superb doctors, as well as a couple of the others there at the clinic. Definitely would recommend this place over a lot of terrible clinics nearby.

Outstanding medical practice! Took my daughter in first thing Sunday morning for a walk in appointment. They were booked up all day and kindly asked for us to wait. We were seen to by a very thorough and caring female doctor within 15 minutes later.

Dr. Laila has been my doctor for the last 5 years. She is very thorough, patient and shows alot of compassion to me, my spouse and 2 children.

Dr Laila looked after both of my pregnancies and when I had any concerns, the receptionists were able to squeeze me in with her, so I was able to listen to the babies heart beat for reassurance.

Happy with the receptionists, haven't had any issues with them directly, except there has been times it has been difficult to get through on the phones but I've been in reception and it's abit full on as they don't stop ringing. Management need to find a solution to this problem.

The nurses I've come across at this clinic are just lovely and when it comes to my childrens immunisations they're just the kindest and make an unpleasant situation more bearable by being so gentle and sweet.

Our family has been attending Algester Medical centre for over 6 years. Even though we have moved out of the area we still make the trip because Dr Suleman has been an amazing doctor to us all, especially to our daughter who is 6 years old. Dr Suleman is patient, compassionate, non-judgemental doctor who is very knowledgeble and takes the extra time to explain everything in great detail. We have previously had slight issues with the wait times during appointments but this has significantly improved recently.

Early this morning, I attended here to see a Phlebotomist in the Medlab, (inside the Algester Med Cntre) I had the pleasure of being attended to by 'Grace'. She was very friendly & professional, got the job done within minutes.
The other staff were friendly as well, being helpful with doors & directing to where I was suppose to be, upon entry & exit.
After reading all the 1star negative reviews, I was apprehensive, however I was prepared to give them a shot & happy I did. (I would not have tolerated unprofessional behaviour from anyone, so I'm pleased it was a positive visit all round)! Can recommend.

My family have been patients of Dr Covan Ho for over 10 years. Quite simply, he’s the best I've come across. Many a time I've come out of the clinic and in the car driving home, I've said to my family how lucky we are to have stumbled across this incredible doctor - because finding a great doctor you're comfortable with, trust highly and respect is difficult. I don't feel rushed with Dr Ho. I truly appreciate the time he takes to explain medical matters in a way that I understand and makes sense. The best part about Dr Ho from my perspective is just how particular and extremely knowledgeable he is; and that's the way I like it. Put simply, I've always felt safe in his hands and that he keeps my family safe; and other fathers may understand the value I put on this. And in those situations where Dr Ho has been unavailable (e.g. after hours), we've been given superb care by other doctors at the clinic.
Secondly - his staff - We have ALWAYS been greeted professionally, promptly and courteously at reception and over the phone. I'm often greeted by name on sight by staff who have been there a while. If I'm slack and don't book in my skin check, the staff follow me up (but never hassle me).
Yes, when it comes to doctors and clinics, we consider ourselves extremely lucky to be in such great hands.

Algester Medical Centre has always been my family medical centre for over 15 years, Doctor Ho is my family doctor for over 15 years. Dr Ho has always conduct in professionalism manners towards his patients, excellent in listening, his communication skills is impeccable, his responsibility, duty of care for his patients is absolute outstanding, and his doctor professional advises has helped me a great deal throughout the years of my illness and current, before and after my late husband had passed away. I have enormous respects and high valued in Dr Ho, thus, many my friends and family I also referred to Algester Medical Centre. My husband is also been to Algester Medical Centre, highly valued and respect Dr Ho from medical professionalism, right down to earth doctor, positive attitude doctor. We are highly recommend Dr Ho to local new patients, or insterstate patients.

As for other negative comments regards Dr Ho, is simply not true!. Because I am one of his regular patient and have known Dr Ho since my early young age days. In my view Dr Ho is highly respects, high valued, positive, happy attitude doctor, and his doctor professionalism is highly recommended. Algester Medical front of house Staff is very professional answering the phones, and response in a very pleasant voice manners, and prompt response in return if required. We are very grateful and thank you to Dr Ho and his team as our highly valued doctor, and has help me a great deal throughout my illness, and medical profession advises before, and now.

I have been a patient of Dr Coven Ho since 2003. In the sixteen years since then, I have been treated with care and respect at all times.
Dr Ho knows my medical history so well and has always advised and treated me in the way I expect to be treated. Dr Ho has been our family doctor for more than 4 years. At all times he has displayed a very caring and professional attitude to us. He has taken all medical issues we bring to him very seriously and goes out of his way to exhaust all possible treatments starting with the least invasive and least expensive. He seems to know the right specialists too and has no hesitation in referral where needed. He treats us in a holistic and caring way!

All our family members are fans of this Medical Center. It has been an entirely 5 star services provided from booking throughout seeing doctor and getting vaccines from the nurse. Mrs. Diane is the most helpful and kind receptionist I've ever met. Dr. Laila Abbassy is looking after my whole family for many years and she is so professional and reliable. Lin, the most beautiful nurse girl is my kids' favorite! She is so talented and incredibly gets vaccines done just in a sec! She always reminds us and provides the related information about what vaccines each of us needs. She cares about every patient and look after them genuinely. My family and I have been going to this practice since I was pregnant with my first child (who is now 7).
I can not recommended this practice highly enough! All the staff are amazing! and we dont just have 'one' doctor as i trust every doctor in this practice and they are all just amazing! ♡

Staff are amazing. Will try and help you with any problem you have.

They have phone Bull billing telehealth service available for those who are current patients of either the Algester or Acacia ridge practice.
Not video conferencing available, however they do have a email they can give you to send pictures if needed.
Very helpful if you are post operation and need wounds and dressing checked by a GP.

Both Dr Emerson and Dr Suleman are extremely good doctors and have a great deal of compassion for everyone. Keep up the amazing work, hope you don't get any burn out from 2020.

My family have been attending Algester Medical Centre and Acacia Ridge when necessary for approx 15 years. We moved from the area but continue to attend. We have had consultations with a number of doctors but mainly Dr Covan Ho, Dr Badrul and Dr Suleman. Some issues have been major, critical and complex. The medical team have provided excellent care and no hesitation in referrals when necessary. Follow-up is terrific and greatly appreciated. I personally experienced sensitivity, empathy and encouragement when given a bad diagnosis along with a swift treatment plan. Apologies to people who have had their appts delayed due to any of my family's health conditions and thank you to the team for your thorough assessments. A big acknowledgement of and appreciation to the nursing and front desk staff too. We're regulars but always well greeted. Thank you.

I've made several appointments and seen couple of GPs and I love the service staff and doctors give. Awesome place.

Dianne was very helpful and kind while making an appointment for my dad.

Sarah was remarkably patient on the phone with me even when I changed appointment time back and forth.

My husband and myself have been going to Dr Badrul for quite a few years. I must say he is the most caring doctor I have even had treat me. We had moved to the Gold Coast and I still travel to Acacia Ridge to see him.

I have had a lot of interaction with Jannett and Paulsen reception staff. Janette is always smiling willing to go above and beyond in helping me. Nothing is ever an issue. I have witnessed her kind and loving nature to all the patients. I can honestly say they are the most caring thoughtful ladies. I have always been treated with such care and would never leave this practice.

My Stepfather and My Mother Have been seeing Doctor Ho for the last 5 years for various health issues and have always found him to be professional, thorough and helpful.
He is available at times that suit them and can be relied on to sort with discretion, the various health issues that they have had.
Dr Ho says it is a pleasure to see my Parents and he is happy to help in any way he can. They in return are very happy with the treatment they recieve.

Been reading the reviews on here and I don’t know. I honestly didn’t have any of the issues like, bad receptionist, bad doctors experience. Came in about 3 weeks ago. I pre-read the reviews because, when you’re looking for a GP you ought to read reviews right? Well wait time I thought it was better then the other surgery In Sunnybank on Turton st, where I’d waited like 1 hour +. Got what I needed, can’t complain.

My husband and I have been treated by Dr Badrul for many years now. He is absolutely amazing and I would recommend him to anyone. I don't even mind switching between their Acacia Ridge Practice and Algester just to see Dr Badrul.

Johanna on the front desk is lovely. As soon as I walk in the door she greets me by name before I even get to the counter.
