Italian Street Kitchen Penrith

We were super pleased we tried Italian Street Kitchen inside Penrith Panthers.

The restaurant is large but feels good. The staff were awesome and quick service, it's nice that the staff seem happy at work.

My wife had crab ravioli, but my truffle cabonara was to die for. I am a huge truffle lover and my dish was simple and delicious.

Happy to go back again next time we are in the area!

Well done Italian kitchen team 👏 My son had his birthday lunch after the ifly next door we had 17 kids and parents in total 22 and had the best lunch for our group.Not only the pasta and antipasto was delicious all the kids meals were done perfectly.Fresh pastas and pizza 10/10 and the waiter gave us the best service making sure drinks and food was all served and everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant 🙏

Firstly, let me start by saying that this is the first review I have written for a restaurant. Ever.. And I have eaten out four nights a week for the past 12 years.

Honestly one of the best Italian dining experiences I have had. I have eaten at a lot of places, many fine dining places as well. The service was on par with a fine dining establishment. The first sign that the staff are well trained is when we were seated, they immediately asked what kind of water we wanted and if we wanted drinks. From there it just got better, the waiter (I can't remember his name) was courteous, friendly, and knew the menu well. As if he had dined here many times. The food was served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Everything tasted amazing. The arancini was hot, fresh and well seasoned. The sauce for the arancini was perfectly balanced, not too acidic. My friend had the seafood fregula. I was amazed at how well the pasta was prepared and cooked. Almost as if we were in Sardinia. The seafood was perfectly cooked and the sauce brought the whole dish together perfectly. I had the prosciutto tortellini, which was to die for. The tortellini was al-dente, and I mean the real al-dente (slightly hard on the tooth) . So it was perfect. There was the right amount of sauce (which is not too much if you are an Italian cooking purest). The parmesan used was definitely off a larger block of parmigiano reggiano, I could tell as the taste as it added the final bit of salt taste to the dish and the flavour was that of real parmigiano from Reggio Emilia. For dessert we had the tiramisu, this knocked our socks off! The waiter brought out a large bowl of it and served it at our table. It was as good as my mother used to make. We then opted for a couple of cannoli - this again, was as if I was in Sicily where cannoli originate from. I have travelled many places and even here in Australia been to many Italian restaurants, both causal and fine dining, but this is by far the best I have had.

We recently had a lovely lunch here. We made a reservation online which was super easy. When we got there the staff greeted us by the reservation name and had our table ready for us. We had arancini, tortellini bosciaola, calzone, kids ham and pineapple pizza, and amaretto pudding (can't remember the name of it). All of our food was great and we all left feeling full and happy. The staff were knowledgeable about the food and drinks and were able to suggest the perfect wine. They even gave me a taste of two wine options so that I could choose my favourite. We had a great experience and look forward to returning in the future.

This place absolutely blew us away, we were so impressed with every single dish. The flavours and textures were just outstanding. Fresh pasta, woodfired pizza, creamy croquettes, crispy arancini, the freshest Margherita pizza I’ve ever had, and the uniqueness of the pastas were just mouthgasms. Everyone commented on the amaretti biscuit crumb on the ravioli 🤌🏼

Let’s not forget about happy hour slinging $10 cocktails and $6 wines between 5-7pm Monday to Friday 😉🍷

Went with my daughter last night and back again tonight. Amazed that both the host and a waiter remembered us in such a busy and vibrant environment. We both thoroughly enjoyed the calamari (shared) and pesto pizza on Friday night. On Saturday night thoroughly enjoyed the arancini and pasta dishes ok. Pizza a must. S.A. rose terrific as well.

First visit and I'm impressed. Friendly staff at entrance, seated us promptly, we did book beforehand. Ordered Panzerotto and Meatballs in Sugo for entree and I was on cloud 9 (sorry forgot to take a pic) they both went so well together. It was moreish! We had Lamb Shank & Gnocchetti Sardi Salsiccia (pictured) for our mains. The lamb was so tender and well cooked, the mash was tasty. I can't wait to go back and try the other dishes. FYI they also do set menu's for groups of 12 or more, great menu selection and well worth the price. Cool atmosphere, loved the vibes, nice decor. Staff were friendly. I recommend eating here, not disappointed whatsoever!

It's not very often these days you get both good food and good service, but they nailed it. Extremely happy with our choice for date night tonight and will be back!

Best tiramisu in Penrith and the service is always exceptional. I couldn’t find the contact for management so I wanted to give a shout out to Alex who served our area and managed the staff members. Your staff’s communication was on point on several occasions. Alex reminded me about my birthday voucher upon payment when it wasn’t him that I mentioned it to. Staff were also checking up on us, and when we asked him if it’s OK to stay until close (another 30mins), staff no longer needed to do rounds on our table, so we felt respected and had our privacy.

Finally used my redballlon voucher on Friday (3/12/22) and the service and food was mint all around. Definitely will recommend..

I’ve been to an Italian street kitchen before once at Bella Vista and it wasn’t to my liking but the food was something to come back for.
I had a chance to dine in at the Penrith location and was it everything that I was looking for!
I was accepted by the staff as soon as me and my brother walked into the establishment. It was a busy night so staff was making sure everyone was being attended to which was understandable but a wonderful worker named Des , took the time out and made us feel comfortable ordering as she suggested to us food to our likings. We had the Bistecca and had a wonderful night! Highly recommend & will tell others of this place!

Absolutely loved our night out here, the food was incredible but the service has to be the highlight. Our waitress Des was so accommodating to all of our needs, gave us the best food (and drinks especially) recommendations, and made me and my mom feel so at home. We want to give all our love and thanks to Des again, Italian Street Kitchen will definitely be our go to lazy weeknight dinner spot

Not only was the food delicious, the staff were absolutely amazing!! we were greeted by beautiful smiles from the waitresses, their service was very professional with some jokes here and there which made my husband and i’s dining experience very joyful. we will definitely be back!!

Quite a large resturant inside Penrith Panthers. Great interior design. Interesting menu just wish they had more pasta options. Could not go past the Pancetta which was great. Good cocktails and the service was very good, open kitchen so you can watch the preparation such was a good thing. Defiantly check out Italian street kitchen in Penrith.

I recently visited with a group of friends and were incredibly satisfied with our experience! As an indecisive group of friends, we struggled to decide what meals to order but a staff member named Desiree recommended a few items off the menu and they were definitely meals to come back for! Thank you for the recommendations and we will DEFINITELY be back in the future for more!

Best dinner and service I’ve had in a while I the food was amazing and came out so quick and really fresh my favourite was the Arancini Norma the arrabbiata sauce had so much flavour don’t be scared away if you don’t like eggplant because I don’t but I loved these, the rigatoni pomodoro the pasta was al dente and was such a good serving size also the tiramisu is probably the best one I’ve ever had I would totally recommend this place to family and friends

The food was incredible, absolutely amazing and dessert was the best I've ever had. If you have the time make sure you try this place. A beautiful experience
