Fairway Lodge Motel

Paula was quite kind, when I called to book our stay regarding our pet. We arrived prior to check-in time. Wendy was willing to let us check in early. We were very grateful. Wendy showed compassion for our reason for visiting for the weekend. Our room was extremely clean & fresh. Linen was beautiful & extra pillows. The room is tastefully decorated. An enjoyable stay

Great little no frills motel. Comfy bed, air conditioning, fan, all clean, friendly staff and very easy check in.

This is a great place to stay overnight to break up a long road trip with the family. Late check in is super convenient and easy. The rooms are simple but very clean. Pet friendly rooms are great when having to bring the dog too. Great value. Just a short drive off the M1 but quiet. I’d recommend.

We stayed at this place while driving from Sydney to Gold Coast in January 2023. It's located at a very convenient place just a bit off the Pacific highway A1. The place itself is huge, lots of open friends, even barbecue areas (whoever wish to use). The rooms were very clean, which was the number one criterion for us for a last minute change from another place in the heart of Port Macquarie. The amenities provided were ample, the tea/coffee kitchenette was well stocked fresh and inviting. The housekeeper lady seems to be very kind and helpful during our brief stay. I managed to break a cup and on confessing to her, she just laughingly brushed it off. Highly recommended, a warm and ultra clean place for a stopover.

The whole experience for 7 days was 5 star. The amazing ladies (Wendy & Paula) that manage the motel go above and beyond all my expections

Decor of this motel was simple yet stylish. Very clean and tidy. The bed was also comfy. Noted in photos that units had hair dryer but ours did not. Female owner was more than accommodating and provided hair dryer really quickly.
The unit had bowls, plates and cutlery. This was good as we had our own breakfast hence we saved money.
The motel is on the main road into Kempsey but as motorway by passes town, it is now fairly quiet.

We hadn't planned to stay here, but underestimated how long the drive home to the Central Coast would be from Queensland after a family holiday.
We decided to stop halfway when our toddler became restless and happened upon this quaint little place in Kempsey.
The rates were cheap, so we called to see if they had any available rooms for the night.
The lovely lady who answered was very friendly and helpful.
She got us into a family room big enough to sleep all six of us immediately, right before they closed for the night.
Opening the door and stepping inside was like getting a warm hug from my grandmother.
The room smelt lovely, and was so cozy and immaculate.
The beds were comfortable and clean.
This little lodge has a sweet, old fashioned country feel about it.

EDIT: We stopped in again on our way home from Coffs Harbour this year.
It's become our stop point on long trips home from north bound holidays now.

Clean room and bathroom. Bed verg comfortable.great for stop off travelling or a few nights visiting family/friends or as in my case a few nights as my husband was in hospital..the 2 female managers very friendly and accomading.

I stayed at Fairway Lodge for a day to break up my long trip, and I found everything was perfect! The check in was a breeze, my room was clean and very welcoming, with a bonus view to my car. Very quiet and comfortable. Loved the proximity to the town centre and the motorway
Will be back in the future for sure!

Management was very pleasant and friendly. Affordable clean room that had everything I needed. The grounds and facilities were tidy and well maintained and it was great to be able to take my dog who was welcomed as warmly by management as I was. Would definitely recommend this motel to travellers and will choose this motel to stay again when in Kempsey. Thank you for a great stay.

Stayed here while travelling interstate. We were looking for the cheapest place in the area. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised! It was clean, comfortable and we had a great sleep. Much better than some motels who expect you to pay double what we did! Will definitely stay again on the next road trip.

Nice clean good sized rooms with toiletries tea/coffee making facilities & bikkies, bar fridge with real fresh milk, microwave, TV, ceiling fan & air conditioner. Pet friendly (with some conditions) lovely undercover BBQ area's & each room has it's own CARPORT next to it. Surprisingly quiet considering main road frontage. Plenty of cleared land to walk the fur family. Absolutely loved the place. One small criticism is that our room only had a double bed. Queen size is what we are used to, but we managed ok.

Clean, cheap, convenient, pet friendly.
My partner and I stopped here with our dog on the way from jervis bay to tweed heads. Staff are friendly. It's well priced. Very clean. Reasonable beds. Tv microwave and kettle plus some dishes. Lots of parking.
No extra charge 4 dogs which was nice.
Just off the motorway and a short 4 min drive to kempsey for food etc.
A great stop over

Stayed here for one night and wish it could have been longer. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower pressure perfect. The additional little touches such as extra milk in fridge and biscuits were very much appreciated. The staff were so warm and hospitable. Thank you very much ... we will return.

Great motel, friendly helpful people, very comfortable and clean, spacious grounds and gardens, outdoor barbecues and shelters and reasonable prices.
Best motel accommodation we encountered on the trip.
Would highly recommend and would return again.

The Fairway Motel is an excellent overnight stop for us.
It is exceptional clean.
The ladies here are just wonderful, nothing is a bother snd the loveliest greeting and smiles.
It’s just off the highway, so a perfect place to stay and only 5 minutes into Kempsey.
Plenty of room for undercover parking beside room.
Beautiful bbq areas.
Surrounds are keep to a high level.
Rooms are comfy and cosy.
The best night sleep ever.
This is our second time staying and highly recommend this relaxing, enjoyable, friendly motel.

Great spot, easy to access. The people who worked there are great and the rooms are lovely. We had some kangaroos hanging out back too.

Great quiet location just off the highway overlooking the golf course .
Well kept lawns that often has a kangaroo resting under a tree.
Rooms are large and clean and beds comfortable
All the staff were so friendly and very helpful. I would recommend to anyone as a nights stopover or a week long stay

We stay here every time we come here to Kempsey. Very clean rooms and friendly staff, always helpful if we arrive late or need anything. Highly recommend staying here if you need a room to stay over night or for a few days. Its also very close to Kempsey shops only about 5 min drive.
