I had an exceptional experience at Dapto Medical and Family Practice, all thanks to their outstanding receptionist. Not only were they incredibly professional, but they also went above and beyond to help me. I was dealing with a sharp pain in my lower stomach and after waiting for hours at the emergency room, I reached out to the medical centre. Thanks to their prompt assistance, I was able to organize an appointment and was seen the same day. Their swift action led to the confirmation that I had appendicitis, and they helped me get it sorted without further complication. It's disheartening to hear about the unfair review they received from another customer, because my interaction with them was nothing short of excellent. Keep up the fantastic work!

My family and I have been going to Dapto Family Medical for over 18 years and have never had anything but high praises for the staff and Drs, especially Dr Ooi, a very patient and thorough doctor.

I recently took my mum to visit this Medical Centre. We were promptly looked after and waited a reasonable period of time for the doctor to see us - unlike other medical centres where the wait are minimum 1.5 hours. Thank you to the entire team and thank you especially to Jamane at front desk who was kind and attentive. We appreciate all your hard work in looking after the community.

I have been going to this practice for quite some time and find all the staff amazing and friendly to talk to. Jamane in particular is always going above and beyond to help me, answer any of my questions without hesitation and always with a smile on his face! I highly recommend this practice as I always feel so well looked after and welcomed by their friendly front desk team.

Have visited the medical practice multiple times and I have always received friendly and great services from all the reception staff. I have called through multiple times to arrange Telehealth and the male receptionist has always been helpful and honest on booking times and expectations.

Unlike the negative review below, Jamane stands out for his friendliness and dedication to ensuring a seamless experience which made me feel genuinely cared for as a patient. Overall, my interactions at Dapto Medical have been consistently positive, thanks to Jamane's service. I would recommend this surgery to my family and friends.

I Always have a wonderful experience when I visit the practice, especially with the receptionist Jamane who is always friendly, super attentive and goes out of his way to book last minute appointments for me. I would highly recommend this practice.

Everytime I have gone here the receptionist Jamane has been extremely helpful with everything that I need. He always makes sure I am looked after and I never leave disappointed. He is amazing and extremely kind and helpful. Will never go anywhere else!!

Recently moved to the area and was looking for a new doctor. Was lucky enough to book in the Dr. Christina Gray, who is a professional, empathetic and very personable doctor. I have also had only positive experience so far with reception staff and nurses performing blood tests. All round happy with this medical practice.

Never had an issue coming here. The doctors take good care of you and the receptionists Jamane always goes above and beyond to help with my inquiries!

Dr Ooi has been my doctor for past 16yrs (since I moved to Dapto). He never rushes you through a diagnosis. He has a fabulous sense of humour. Is very caring & compassionate. He's not a doctor who gives out pills carelessly. Always listens & gives best advice. I know I must be a-trial for staff there as I wear hearing aids & they often have to repeat info., but all is done with great kindness & patience. I wouldn't go anywhere else. (My 4 grandchildren love him too!!)

Highly recommended. The staff are lovely and help as much as they possibly can, they are fantastic. Dr. Ooi is amazing, he may run late each day but that is because he cares and never rushes you out the door with a script jammed in your hand, he does everything that needs to be done and then asks if there is anything else you need! I wait knowing that when it is my turn i will be dealt with in a caring, methodical, in depth and non rushing manner with a personal manner. Caring professionals, that is all you need to know.

It has been approximately a year since I started coming to Dapto Medical and Family Practice. My first impressions of this practice were very favourable and they continue to be that way. I have found the staff at Reception to be particularly welcoming, helpful and friendly (so different to previous experiences).Love the HotDoc app which makes scheduling an appointment very easy and convenient. Dr Armstrong has been my family’s GP for a number of years. He has provided healthcare of a very high standard, due to his proactive and thorough approach during consultations and the follow up arrangements for any specialist care.
I highly recommend Dapto Medical and Family Practice.

I have been going to DMFP for about 8 years now and they always go above and beyond. About 2 months ago my mother had tried to go to her Doctor's practice as she was feeling very unwell, they turned her away, she then went to DMFP, reception took one look at her and saw how unwell she was and was able to get her in to a Dr within 15 minutes. In a nutshell, the Dr sent her to the hospital and it turns out she was very ill and could have died. If my mum did not see a Dr she was going to go home in the hope that it would pass.

I could not recommend this practice enough.

I have been a patient at this practice for approx. 18 months and in that time I've found the Admin Staff and Nurses to be friendly, professional and very efficient. I came to this practice following Dr Armstrong who has been my GP for at least 20 years. He is a likeable, caring, straightforward, very thorough and dedicated GP. Over the years he has been responsible for the early detection of bowel cancer, prostate cancer and DVT's and for this I am eternally gratefully. I believe he is one of the best GP's in the Illawarra which is continually reinforced in discussions with many local and Sydney based health professionals.

I have been attending this practice, for 18 months or so, I did this so as to follow Dr R.J. Armstrong, this caring man has looked after my health for the best part of eleven years, I very much enjoy his manner,his candid approach, he tells it as it is, which very good for me as I need a push from time to time, however it is Dr Armstrong's ability to diagnose and care for his patients such as he has for me over the years, that keeps me returning to this practice. The practice it"s self is very well run under Dr Ooi,who has been serving in Dapto for many years. It is a complete Medical Centre, with many other disciplines at this centre also.

Have been using the practice for many years and have always been delighted with the reception and professional service I have received. Because of the thoroughness of the doctors I am sure my life has been changed for the better on at least 2 occasions - one when my aggressive prostate cancer was diagnosed and again when my heart problem was diagnosed (triple by-pass & valve) .
