It's a rare thing to actually enjoy a visit to a fast food restaurant. This place was clean considering the customer throughput, service was quick and cheerful, but best of all was actual music played at a reasonable volume, instead of crass muzak at an annoying level. A pleasant surprise.

Food warm, well cooked and not lacking effort. I came at 12am after my PM shift and had to use self service but was very happy with my order. 👍

Don't remember how I ended up in this McDonald. I think I had too much drink, woken up outside of this place with TV in my hand from jb.

Was a much more pleasant experience than Northgate Maccas, Fairy Meadow.

At the Wollongong restaurant, all the staff were very obliging when asked a question. They were all smiling and gave the impression that they were happy at their work and therefore happy to be there.

At the Northgate Fairy Meadow store, after paying for our meals, we asked a question which resulted in a partial refund to my friend on her meal. The store manager/shift supervisor wasn't pleased. My friend asked him a question, and he gave her a nasty look. She repeated the question, and he replied, "Go around to the next window to collect." My friend said yes, I know, but... She repeated her question, and he repeated his with a look of distaste on his face. Neither of us had ever had such an experience at Macca's, let alone anywhere else.

But at the Wollongong Maccas, all the staff were all exemplary. Next time, we'll go out of our way to frequent The Gong rather than Gateway (which is mostly convenient for us).

5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wollongong... Thanks 😃

Usually a terrible Maccas notorious for getting orders wrong, half filling drinks and getting cold, soggy fries.

Today was different. The diet coke was full and the hashbrowns were fresh. Unusual.

If you're looking for a crapshoot, come here. Just be prepared for the worst.

Clean & sedate ambience between midnight to 0400hrs and experienced personnel at breakfast. Experienced drive-thru as well. A great space to have early coffee for businessmen before heading into work in or passing through Wollongong. A cosy eatery for families. Avoid late Friday/Saturday nights. Extremely busy between 0300hrs - 0500hrs with young lads heading home from a bust night out!

Just brilliant,
They get that some people like things a little bit different from the norm,
And make changes accordingly with a smile .
Nothing is too much.
Keep up the good work.

A lovely friendly experience, when Covid is affecting everyone in their own way, socially, financially, emotionally. Thankyou to the staff and management, for friendly and efficient service. My food was hot. Most importantly my coffee was good! 😀😀
