Had an evening meal here on new years day with a group of friends. There was a wide selection of burgers to choose from. I ordered a double cheese burger which was delicious. Chips were crispy. Vibe was relaxed. Wait staff were friendly.

My partner said the Nacho Libre was very good, the broth lacked flavour. The chips were very good, the corn ribs were just good, but lacked flavour, the sauce on them was really yummy. For cocktails, the sex on the beach was good, the sour strap was not that good. the service was lovely and the atmosphere was very enjoyable, not as loud as i was worried it may be. We were seated at the bench and it was good. Overall very fun and would love to go back and try their regular menu (the dishes we got were monthly specials). Thank you!

Mark the waiter went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and valued. He knew the menu and took note of all our names 10/10 service. The burgers were next level definitely value for money!

- HBE BREAKY BURGER $18 - 5/5 ⭐ So much goodness into one milk bun! The Angus beef patty was a bit dry for my personal liking but everything else was so delicious, it made up for it. The melted cheese on gooey egg and crispy bacon was yum! 😋 The fluffy crunchy hash brown really elevated the burger! Finally the mix of chipotle bbq and truffle mayo delivered the oomph on this amazing breakfast burger.
- PBJ PANCAKES $22 - 2.5/5 ⭐ don’t really like pancakes in the first place tbh. This was not bad, just meh for the price I reckon.

I had "the spud" with added hot wings and I couldn't fault a single thing about it. Absolutely delicious!!! I also got a paddle and it was fantastic value. Awesome venue. Highly recommend

Had the original fried chicken and one of the best I've had! Crispy with plenty and flavour and meat was nice and tender. Perfect. Also had the Dagwood dogs nice starter and Mac and cheese for the kid. Texture and taste of the Mac and cheese was perfect kid loved it. Be back again for sure! Service was great as well!

My fiancé and I went on our first date here, and we decided to come back to recreate that experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Grace who was very welcoming like all the staff here. She took the time to make sure that we had great service. While I had the cheeseburger, my fiancé had their chips and popcorn chicken. All the food here is wonderful and at reasonable prices.

We also came back for breakfast, which has a lovely selection on the menu. We’re both having pancakes that are very nice.

Would definitely recommend as I’m a local, but would recommend others to visit as they have done quite a bit for the community.

Can’t wait for my next visit.

Lovely place and delicious burgers. Good vegan options. Loved the cauliflower bites, not the best onion rings but I forgive them (LoL), definitely the best loaded fries with gravy. Booking recommended especially on the weekend, they are super busy (because they are that good!).

The wait was unusually long (not sure if its because it was breakfast time with less staff) but you can't say it's not worth it when this comes out to you.
Staff lovely as always, the biscoff waffle to die for, the coffee delicious (and I'm a fussy coffee drinker!) and I will definitely be coming back again when I've got the time.
Just knocked that one star off service simply cause of the wait was about 45mins(?) from ordering. 😊

Went during happy hour which meant burger and chips was fifteen dollars. It also meant some cocktails were ten dollars.

I really enjoyed the dirty bird burger because it was so juicy and delicious. Fat boy was good however I prefer the dirty bird.

The alcohol were ten dollars each. There was mild alcohol taste from both cocktails I had.

I will definitely return because I love the burgers here!

Not a fan of QR ordering systems. But the burgers and food are worth coming back for. They do monthly specials so always something new to try even though it hard to go past the classics. Haven't been there for breakfast yet but what's on the menu looks amazing.

My friend and I went for late night dinner and the burgers hit the spot, cocktails are awesome too. The staff are great and a nice atmosphere for a Monday night. Definitely recommend

The 'Fat Boy' burger has been my favourite burger for years and the quality has always been amazing. His Boy is my go-to for a dinner takeaway order, but we also went in last night. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. They had a great selection of wine and beer and we had a great time. Also ordered extras so we had leftovers for today and the onion rings and popcorn chicken are so good even cold!! Guys, please do not change what you're doing, because you're my favourite burger place in Wollongong!

Upon arrival it was easy to see the establishment had a nice vibe. The outside tables were all taken. It was also easy to approach the bar and within moments the counter staff offered service. I ordered pop corn chicken, fries and sweet potato fries for takeaway. I was politely told it would be approximately 15-20 minutes wait time. I sat next to the window on a stool. From there you could see the street and the rest of the restaurant. The feeling of the restaurant was buzzing. You could see food orders being made at the back which added to the great atmosphere. Whilst I waited, I was pleasantly offered table water.

There are television screens high above the bar for easy viewing to keep you busy if you don't mind watching sports. The wait time was spot on. I was handed my order in a brown bag stapled at the top for security. The staff who handed the order confirmed my name with a warm, pleasant smile.

It felt effortless to walk in, order and wait for my takeaway. The food has a unique feel. The pop corn chicken is the best I have had. On its own with the sauces supplied is plenty to fill an empty stomach. The fries are crispy and tasty. The sweet potato fries are also the best I have had. Crispy and well seasoned.

I will return and recommend them to anyone!

Great place for American breakfast and in my opinion… best burgers in town. Staff are friendly and welcoming and I love what HBE are about. Amazing beers changed regularly. Bar stool brothers- see staff for details and sponsor Kokoda documentary if you can, looks amazing. Highly recommend

First time here after I’ve been wanting to go for a long time now and finally got a chance when I was in the area yesterday. They have fantastic burgers, the kids loved them too, great fries, and really really good popcorn chicken too. It was all so tasty!!

Get something with the bacon on it, that tastes amazing!!

Nice little spot. Great burgers at good prices. They also give back to the community aswell through some of their promotions. Great bunch of guys and gal's. Would recommend and return

Love visiting His Boy Elroy! Food is great, staff are welcoming and very friendly, atmosphere is nice. Definitely worth visiting! Tried their new breakfast menu and the pancakes are amazing! And, one of the best chai lattes I’ve had.

I can’t believe I had to drive an hour from Sydney CBD to have the best Nashville Fried Chicken! Worth the drive! and will definitely be back
