I honestly cannot recommend dr Cronin more strongly!! Not only is he an exceptional and highly skilled surgeon but he is very affable as well. The technology he has available and work with is mind blowing and you can see he takes immense pride in his work. One of our best eye docs in Australia for sure! What a life changing experience. From my daily frustration as a result of deteriorating sight to being free of glasses and being able to read and have fabulous vision. Brendan and his caring team were amazing in every way. Reception and booking appointments and surgery, aftercare, care and compassion was evident throughout the whole process. I literally was terrified of eye drops when i first visited but your nurse was patient and caring with testing. Thank you brendan. I would recommend you to anyone considering advice or surgery.

My daughter has recently had a cornea implant. From the initial consultation to the surgery and post op visit...Dr Brendan Cronin has been amazing!! His light hearted, humorous personality got us through the very worrying and serious times. Nothing is an issue to him, he's a Yes man and delivers.
Dr Cronin is not only a skilled and incredibly brilliant surgeon but he is also a beautiful, generous and compassionate human being.

Dr Cronin is the most amazing Doctor I have ever come across. I say this for many many reasons but mainly for the fact he has given me a chance to see again out of both eyes again and words can't express what it means to me. When you don't have sight in both eyes you honestly don't realize the HUGE difference it makes, it's like not seeing both sides of the world until Dr Cronin works his magic and miraculously his miracle work brings you feelings and emotions you can't put into words. Dr Cronin has this unique way about himself that is very rare. He makes you feel like everything is easy and his positive ways are so influential you forget the negative without even realizing. He makes you laugh without a doubt even in his videos. I thankGod everyday I have the most amazing Dr that has given me more than he will ever know. The entire experience with Dr Cronin is one that no other can compare to and I'll forever be so grateful for having the privilege of being his patient. I have the greatest respect and admiration for him now and always. He has put an indent in my life so big that if the surgery wasn't a success I would still feel exactly the same. Dr Cronin is a top notch Ophthalmologist who recently removed my cataracts with lens implants. Dr Cronin knows his stuff and inspires confidence all the way. The equipment at the Queensland Eye Institute is state of the art and the South Bank Day Hospital on the same premises, is also fantastic. Dr Cronin is an easy person to relate to and what's more, he didn't charge the high out of pocket fees that many surgeons are notorious for. With health insurance, Dr Cronin makes this important surgery within the reach of many who need it. Very happy with my new eyes.

Dr Cronin was extremely easy to talk to and explained everything throughout. Whole procedure was professional and I can already see clearer only one week out, and no pain! Dr Cronin is very professional, friendly and patient. We are so lucky to have him done the surgery for my mum who was desperate before seeing him and believed that she would never regain her eyesight. He is just amazing!

After being diagnosed with astigmatism I was referred to Dr Cronin at Queensland Eye Institute and it turned out to be a great reference. I had two lenses inserted and the cataracts removed. The procedure was very professional, the discomfort minimal and the follow up was exceptionally good. I would highly recommend Dr Cronin as an ophthalmologist.

Dr Brendan Cronin has it all!! He is totally professional, has a relaxing sense of humour, explained my medical condition and a solution concisely, without arrogance or pressure! He fixed my problem as an acute angle closure glaucoma patient within minutes!! performed a laser irodotomy- and explained that my condition is no longer a problem !!! And I dont need to go back - Incredible - I have been going to a Melbourne opthamalogist for years without any IMMEDIATE solution-and was worried about having an attack on a cruise where I could have gone blind in 2 hours!! We cruise a lot! Thank you Dr Brendan - you are my hero!!!!! You have changed the quality of my life- and I HIGHLT recommend this eye surgeon - And a big shout out to the incredible welcoming and efficient staff at Queensland Eye institute- thank you Natalie, and Georgisat the reception desk and the wonderful Rebecca and Angie doing the wonderful state- of- the- art laser test!!!! Dr Cronin is nothing short of amazing, he is friendly, caring and a great specialist. Rachael his optometrist is also a brilliant lady, very thorough and friendly. I would recommend Doctor Cronin to anybody with eye problems, if he can't fix them he will recommend someone who will.

Extremely professional in all aspects of how he goes about his business of 'fixing' your eyes. Easy going friendly manner...answered all my questions...allayed worries...and then just went ahead and did a superb and amazing job on my cataracts/lens replacements and insertion of Hydrus Stents. Only a week since the second eye was done and everything progressing along nicely without any problems. Can highly recommend Dr Cronin and the whole experience of dealing with the Queensland Eye Institute.

Amazing ophthalmologist. Reversed my MGD and suggested someone for my other problems and that’s what helped me figured out ALL of my very complicated and difficult health problems that had been going on for 12 years and no one knew what to do.
