Bright Velo Hotel

I recently stayed at the Bright Velo for a biking weekend. The room and food were good and the staff were friendly. The weather was superb so we enjoyed the beer garden. A massive thank you to Tim, who was our support vehicle for the weekend. Whether you're enjoying a getaway in Bright or cycling the high country, I highly recommend Bright Velo Hotel.

The staff here are absolutely fantastic, we accidentally booked for the wrong night and they went above and beyond to help sort it out for us. So friendly and helpful! The rooms are beautiful, there’s laundry facilities on site and the restaurant and bar areas look fantastic. Highly recommend!

We have been staying here for 29 years and never disappoints. The location is perfect and a huge shout out the Naomi the house keeper. She goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing!! She was so helpful all weekend. Cheers Carrie

If looking for accommodation in Bright you must stay at Bright Velo Hotel. Rooms & ensuit are fabulous, ( large )well maintained, a mixture of old & new, everything you expect, all for a very reasonable price.

We recently stayed in a 3Bedroom apartment. The location is excellent, the hotel is situated only 2 minutes walk from the city centre. The check in process was a breeze and the staff very helpful. The rooms have been well maintained and super clean. Our apartment came with a washing machine and dryer that was a big bonus since we were travelling with 3 kids). Definitely visiting again and staying more nights.

We had a confortable room, great storage for the bikes, friendly and helpful customer service ( thanks Marielle). Great location, everything is walking distance. We did not try the bar/restaurant but we heard it’s pretty good. Great value overall

Cute little hotel and beds are comfortable. instructions are clear on access codes and provided at booking. Car park is street parking however which is two hours and can be difficult in holiday period.

A lovely find in Bright....beautifully renovated rooms with a tough of luxury. Clean and spacious...ours had balcony access. Very close to shops etc. It has its own bar and restaurant, and the staff were very helpful with a safe place to park our motorbikes. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Bright Velo and just loved every aspect of this hotel.
The recent renovations are just sensational especially the feel of the dining room.
Our room was clean, well presented and appointed.
The size of the double shower was unbelievable.
Our meal in the Empire dining room was delicious and the wait staff were lovely and attentive without being intrusive.
We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Bright

We had the privilege to stay here, and Marielle (spelling?) Was generous to let us stay in the honeymoon suite. Such a beautiful place. Well thought out, picturesque, extremely comfortable, beds are warm and relaxing. Coffee and tea facilities. Double shower! Please come to Velo if you are in Bright, even for just a night. Excellent walking location to many shops.

Our stay at Bright Velo was lovely. We stayed for a surprise birthday present for my husband. Our host Marielle was so thoughtful and kind, and made the whole weekend so special for the two of us (with a few extra special touches!) We were met at the door by the amazing bar person (I'm sorry we can't recall their name but we had an awesome chat about their Airedale dog!) from the whiskey bar, where they immediately sat us down and brought us drinks and delicious food. The room we stayed in (Copi suite) was immaculately clean and absolutely beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful and relaxing weekend! We didn't want to leave!

A group of us stayed here again recently and it was fantastic. The renovations are great, the new bar & deck area awesome and we found all the staff really friendly and helpful.

We were looking for a place where to kick back with the family for the week, away from Melbourne. We stayed at Bright Velo last week and all I can say it was perfect for us; stayed in the Merckx apartment; great rooms; super comfy and warm; feels like a great quality home; and having the restaurant downstairs was so convenient; especially when the food is delicious. Recommend highly to anyone looking for a great place to stay, right in the centre of town, close to everything.

Stayed here recently with my husband and 2 teenage children. The room was extremely clean and very well presented. Great central location, car parking on site. We bumped into the cleaner when we first arrived and she gave us some great dinner recommendations!

We booked Bright Velo for a night before heading up to mt hotham and a night after skiing. The location is perfect, easy access with no time consuming check in. Rooms are very well appointed with nice communal areas to meet up with friends. We dined at the bar one night and the Empire restaurant another night with a big group. The food menu is the same and every item we chose was really good. Service is excellent with knowledgable staff. Would definitely book this again. Thanks to all who made our stay so lovely.

Absolutely amazing. The designer hit nail on the head; rooms are clean, cosy yet very modern. The whiskey bar is a hidden gem, food is great, friendly knowledgeable staff.
Can't wait to see new bikes. Bright Velo has certainly raised the bar.

Had a lovely stay in Bright Velo. We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite and it was such a delight. A huge double rain fall shower that felt so luxurious. Beautiful comfy bed and the room was lovely and warm in the middle of winter. Great location in town, only a short walk down to restaurants and bars.

We stayed in a heritage room which was very well appointed, spacious and super comfortable with access to a balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee watching the day begin . For the bike riders there is secure storage. ( Bright is a bike riders paradise) For socialising you can enjoy the whiskey bar or the bistro with outdoor seating which is great on a sunny afternoon. Very nicely renovated, great friendly staff. We will be back. Thanks.

Absolutely loved our stay in Bright Velo. It was so beautiful and surrounded by a beautiful little town. Everyone was so hospitable and very friendly. Our room was super clean and stunning. We had everything necessary in our rooms. Right below is the stunning restaurant/wine bar which has really nice food and servers . Upstairs right in front of our room was a small coffee section to have a cup of coffee anytime of the day it’s was available 24/7 . The tv in our room had Netflix, prime, Stan, binge and Disney . We also had a balcony facing the cute town . Everything we need was available at one place 💕 If you’re going to the snow you can walk 100 meters down and find a snow gear hiring show , Everything is so convenient we just loved it 😍 We will definitely be back ! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful night ❤
