Advanced Myotherapy & Remedial Massage

Full disclosure I am friends with the owner Matthew. I was visiting for my birthday from interstate and was shouted a treatment with Cameron as my therapist. I have problems with my cervical spine and next to no feeling in my left hand. After 15 years I could feel the sensation return to my hand it was warm and lovely. I was very emotional and on the verge of tears thank you Cameron and thank you Matty for putting me onto such a great gift for my birthday.

I phoned on the off chance of getting an appointment and Matthew was able to fit me in. After having neck pain and headaches for days it was certainly a relief after a massage to be able to move my head comfortably. Highly recommended.

I have had three sessions with Matthew now - a concentrated effort in advance of a trip to Antarctica - and he is amazing! I have to do the work of course, but I am now swimming without my feet cramping after half a length and that hasn't been possible for 20 years! My move to Yea has been worth it just to find Advanced Myotherapy and get the support I need to keep living life to the full .... thanks! Matthew made body surfing in Lorne last week possible ....

Leah was fantastic I booked a relaxation massage and she knew exactly which muscles were tight and needed loosening came out feeling great highly recommend

The best of the best, had a great first visit to Advanced Myotherapy. Leah is friendly, highly skilled and professional. She worked on my lower back pain and shoulder tightness, and I noticed an instant improvement. Highly recommend!

I attended the Yea clinic this morning with ongoing neck/shoulder pain. The pain has been troubling me for quite some time and it felt like it was never going to go away.

By the time my session was completed, I felt immediate relief!

Matthew's one hour massage uncovered tension in my body I didn't know existed..... and the follow up recommendations for actions I can take for free, to enhance the healing process are invaluable!

The man is a wizard and knows what he is talking about. I have seen multiple myo, physio, chiro and ostio and all have not told me what these guys have.

I am new to Yea and am so excited to discover a professional Myotherapy and Remedial service in town. I have visited both Chantal (Myo) and David (Remedial) at the Yea clinic and they are both very experienced and knowledgeable practitioners who I would highly recommend. The space is always clean, comfortable and ambient. Can't wait until my next treatment.

Had another appointment with Chantal this week and can’t recommend her enough! Her hands are magic. I struggle to breathe and try not to cry for the intensity of it, in all the most wonderful ways. Then walk out feeling light as a feather and more relaxed than I have for weeks. Also, she doesn’t make you chit chat but listens to your current issue and just gets on with it - a bonus for antisocials like me!

I had my first remedial symptom specific massage today, it won't be my last. That was fantastic, after a lot of pain I felt completely different after that massage. I feel like my shoulders lowered by 5cm and the tension has really eased off. Highly recommended, David was excellent.

I was privileged to see David today. David is gifted with ‘excellent healing hands’. Beautiful experience with obvious therapeutic benefits. I have booked a package and will make this massage part of my practice...which includes yoga and meditation. I’m set!!!

I have had 2 sessions now with Chantal and find her very professional and informative. My sore left arm and shoulder are benefiting from her wonderful Myotherapy abilities. I am getting movement back in that area and am very much appreciative. I look forward to my session next week.

Excellent news that we have such a great service available in our regional area (I’m from Tallarook). My neck and lower back have been tight as a drum for quite sometime, Kate’s remedial/Myotherapy session has me feeling so much better 😃going back next week to keep the preventative treatment going. I have been visiting the Carlton clinic for quite some time now and thought I would finally make the drive into the country to experience Advanced Myotherapy's newest location in Yea.
The Clinic is visibly located off the main road and parking is not an issue, with numerous spots available in front of the clinic.
I was introduced to Kate, a skilled and passionate myotherapist who didn't waste any time time in getting to work on my injuries. She used a number of effective techniques including dry needling to treat my tight hips and after 90 minutes I walked out of there feeling great.

The clinics interior looked amazing. A relaxing yet rejuvenating experience. I highly recommend this hidden gem, I will definitely be returning and making the drive from Melbourne as just the scenic view of Victorias High Country makes it worth the adventure.

When visiting Victoria I always have a treatment at Carlton where Matthew and Leah and their staff are fantastic. How pleased I was to visit their rooms at Yea and received two fantastic treatments from Kate. Kate’s touch and knowledge are excellent assets to Advanced Myotherapy in Yea. If you have never received a treatment from a Myotherapist I recommend Kate in Yea

My first ever myotherapy treatment, wasn't what I expected it to be, but fantastic results. Kate was excellent in informing you what she was doing during procedure, and providing after care information. I will be returning.

Kate really knows what shes doing. She had really good pressure working through my neck at the base of my scull.

I had dry needling abf it fekt great. Now that i can feel it up to this point it would be great to keep working on the problem to vet further release. I will definitely continue treatment.
