Experienced a peaceful, tranquil, cosy, warm and welcoming farm stay in a cottage and you won't be disappointed. Everything you need and immaculately presented. Wood heater to keep you cosy and warm. Farm animals to keep you entertained. Close to Richond town centre, although feels you are miles away. Thankyou Hana and Ben for an amazing stay. Would highly recommended a stay here. 😀

For people who are well travelled this is up there with one of the best stays we’ve ever had. It’s just divine! The accomodation has everything you need but the little touches (eg: fresh flowers, milk, tea and coffee + more) that just make it. It’s the right combination of modern and rustic. I can’t fault it. Their huge property was encouraged to explore which our 2yo son just loved. 2 days was just enough to reset but would have loved more. We will absolutely be back - thank-you!

We had a lovely stay in the Spa Cottage! Children loved the farm setting with lots of animals such as sheep, horses and hens literally right at your doorstep. Gorgeous little cottage, old world charm with modern amenities. Great breakfast provisions. Would definately recommend it and hope to be back in the future.

We stayed here for three nights. We were welcomed by Hanna. She said we were free to look at their sheep farm. The appartement was one of two located at a restored old building. There was lots if space inside and outside you had a little garden with chairs that were not so comfortabele. The appartement had a kitchen and a beautiful bathroom. We did a walk on the property to basin with water. This was very nice. We only met a tigersnake. So watch out. About one km was Richmond. This is a touristic village and worth a visit.

This truly is a wonderful property. The place is beautiful, and immaculately presented. With only two rooms on the property you'll never feel overlooked. I was provided both days with breakfast provisions that went far beyond my expectations; bacon, eggs, bread, cereals, jams, coffee and tea, and milk. I write this sitting here with a cold beverage in front of a roaring wood fire watching a movie. The property is stunning, and although I've not yet met the owners due to the time of my arrival they seem like lovely down to earth folk. I really hope the place is wonderfully successful for them. I would forget staying in Hobart; I've stayed in a lot of places, but none cosier or felt more like home than this.

What a treat to discover this place in one of Australia's most beautiful valleys. Couldn't fault the accommodation. Every little detail has been thought of. LOVED the wood heating and will definitely be coming back soon.

Daisy Bank Cottages - our stay in the Spa Cottage was the diamond in our trip around Tasmania. Warm and inviting, old world charm but beautifully outfitted with all your modern needs. Breakfast in the fridge, lovely fireplace, comfy leather couches, view, ambience (do you want me to stop yet?)......

Fantastic farm stay! Loved every minute of it. Brilliant location just outside of Richmond and close enough to Hobart. The hosts Hana and Ben are attentive, dogs, sheep, chooks and horses all around. I will be back.

Beautiful mudbrick cottage with included breakfast provisions. Sparkling bathroom and crisp linen. Close (5mins) to Richmond town centre and Hobart (25mins). Surrounded by wineries, fruit farms and nearby zoo. Highly recommend this place for couples or (4person) families, not ideal for toddlers due to staircase. I'll be back for sure!

It's a little slice of heaven. A really really ridiculously photogenic sandstone cottage, and then a welcome basket including eggs from their own chickens and other local produce. (they were delicious). It's quiet and cosy, I'll recommend here to everyone I know. Thank you

We have just experienced two of the most perfect nights stays in Jessies Cottage of Daisy Bank Cottages. We chose Daisy Bank wanting to be close to the township of Richmond to experience what the historic town had to offer. We werent disappointed. We took the 3 minute drive from the town center to Daisy Bank where We were greated by two of the most beautiful and friendly dogs Pip and Charlie before being introduced to their owner and host Hana. Our welcome by Hana was nothing shy of friendly overwhelmingly warm hospitality and couldnt be more lovelier person to introduce us to this magnificent Cottage. On entry into the cottages theres a fabulous picket fence where just like you see in the movies a farm gate opens into the grounds of your accomodation. Stunning cottage gardens surround the grounds which were lovely and admired each morning whilst drinking our coffee as the sun glistened over them. The cottage is beautifully presented with a stunning kitchen with everything needed to cook a home meal which we did on both nights of our stay. Oven, stove top, full draw of utensils, cooking pots pans, full fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kitchen table and chairs as well as a lovely welshdresser adorned with willow patterened plates - total dream. The living area was cosy and very comfortable with a writing desk, large lounge, arm chair digital TV and coffee table, not to mention the magnificent pot belly fire place which kept us lovely and warm on the chilly nights. The bathroom is beautiful and bright with a shower and lovely spa perfect for soaking in after a day of exploring. Upstairs boasts a very attractive comfortable kingsize bed with beautiful windows overlooking the property and vista of the hills. The only issue we had was by our own accord, with our stay was it wasnt long enough! We adored every minue of the magical and serene feeling Daisy Bank Cottages provided and would not hesitate in recommending to any of our friends or family visiting Tasmania. As a Perth based wedding planner I will be adding this stunning property to our list of highly recommended stays for our couples wanting recommendations for their honeymoons as Daisy Bank is up there with the best. Highly Rated. To Hana, Ben, Hamish and Summer we thankyou for sharing part of your property with us and will certainly come back to stay again.
