Waterview Gardens B&B

Tim and Leonie are attentive hosts who spoil you with their great breakfasts. We had the cheese and wine tray, which was lovely and I suggest you order it. Their home is older and appropriately furnished and impeccably clean. I appreciated their detail in sanitizing. Our room was large, and had a stunning view with a small balcony. There is room for a sitting area. They have created a space to make coffee and tea. There’s a small refrigerator and microwave and a toaster in the room. The toiletries are of good quality and include body lotion, which is much appreciated. They have a huge garden, which is home to many pademelons which we really enjoyed watching. We just stayed one night as we were headed to Bruny Island and the location was perfect to catch the ferry the next morning. I highly recommend this B&B.

Leonie and Tim were great hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Their accommodation is stunning with generous sized rooms and private ensuites. Breakfast was a great start to a big day of travel and exploring.
Don't let the short distance of dirt road getting to the property deter you, it is a great location.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Water View Gardens B&B and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of the water.

The accommodations at Water View Gardens B&B were simply lovely. The room was cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing stay. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view from the window. Waking up to the sight of the water was truly a treat for the senses.

The hosts of this B&B were absolutely wonderful. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. They provided lovely little extras such as chocolates, makeup remover, and toiletries, which added a special touch to the experience. Additionally, they were incredibly accommodating when it came to catering to different food preferences. With one vegan we were pleasantly surprised to find that they easily provided delicious options for both vegan and non-vegan guests.

The overall cleanliness of the B&B was exceptional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the heated tiles in the bathroom were a luxurious touch. It was evident that the hosts took great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for their guests.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend Water View Gardens B&B enough. The accommodations were lovely, the hosts were exceptional, the food was amazing, and the overall experience was simply outstanding. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a homey place to stay while exploring the area, Water View Gardens B&B is the perfect choice.

My partner and I stayed at waterview for 1 night, room was very neat and tidy and comfortable. We had an amazing hot cooked breakfast and great coffee before heading off to continue our travels. We really enjoyed our short stay here and would recommend to anyone considering it. The Hayes room we stayed in was a great size for a couple.

One of the best accommodations we ever stayed. It was a very nice room with increadebale view from the balcony. The bath was just what you need to be relaxed and happy. The breakfast was amazing, it was very hard to choose what you want to eat, especially when you want to try everything (including home made jams). The host was top - very friendly, cheerful and welcoming. This is the place you do not want to leave and want to return to.

Was great being able to stay at Waterview b&b was greeted with a big friendly welcome by Leonie. Felt like part of the family and breakfast was amazing went above and beyond and didn't feel rushed out the door. Thanks again for starting our last day in Tasmania amazing.

Wonderful 2 night stay with delicious “over the top” breakfast. Welcoming and friendly host Leonie made sure we were comfortable with tea, coffee, water and milk provided in our room with a beautiful view of the Channel. Heated bathroom floor, great shower, comfortable bed and bedding and loveseat for tv viewing in the Bruni Suite. Enjoyed seeing the wildlife from our large window.

Beautiful home away from home with stunning views over the water to the islands beyond. Great location - just 20 mins from Hobart so could easily pop back & go to the Saturday market, or evening meal if you wish.
The room was beautifully stylish, & clean, with ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating! Very comfy bed with.even an electric blanket! Breakfast - continental or cooked, by our friendly host was extremely generous & catered for different diets.
Had delicious Italian dinner at local Friday pop up van just a couple of minutes away.
Would love to have stayed longer at this B&B, great base to explore Huon Valley & Hobart.
Highly recommended & would love to go back to make more lovely memories!

Amazing, Leonie was an amazing host for my wife and I.
Always gracious and up for a chat.
Very hospitable towards my wife's dairy intolerance supplying almond milk and dark chocolates. Accommodation was great with a lovely view over the water.
Drive way can be a little difficult at times but that's absolutely minor.
All in all, would visit again.

Beautiful views, tranquil retreat, perfect room, fabulous breakfasts and very welcoming host's. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We totally loved our holiday.

This B&B is set in beautiful gardens and there are gorgeous views across the water to Bruny Island from the breakfast room and from our bedroom. Leonie was a terrific hostess - welcoming us with tea and biscuits and making us a excellent breakfast. Our room and bathroom were decorated to a very high standard and our bed was very comfortable. This is 5 star luxury for a 3 star price.

Great B&B for a good size family trip. Friendly owners. Very good quality rooms and great service. Our room had a great view. The two larger rooms are spacious. Breakfast was magnificent! We would stay here again. Thanks.
