Goodstart Early Learning Carindale

There is no centre I would recommend to anyone other than Goodstart. Prior to enrolling my two children into daycare, I was extremely anxious and nervous, especially due to the fact that my son is autistic.
From day one Miss Kali reassured me I had nothing to worry about with my son. over the last 6 months of attending the centre Miss Kali has put in 110% effort in resulting in the most gorgeous un-breakable bond that I still tear up thinking about.
The support and assistance received in the short time we have been here is outstanding.

We initially sent our kids to the brand new Green Leaves centre in Carindale after they'd spent time in a wonderful centre in Fortitude Valley (we were moving) and it was a DISASTER.

We ended up taking them out and opting for family daycare until she needed to close her doors through COVID.

So glad we found Good Start Carindale. No, they don't have the same fancy wooden toys as the newer centre (actually in saying that I know they replenish their resources regularly!!) but they excel in the areas that matter. The educators are caring and my kids have really bonded to them. Centre management actually cares about staff and kids - there's an amazing culture here. Plenty of activities and a great focus on development. Totally love it here and am going to miss it when the kids go to school.

We absolutely love Goodstart Carindale and feel so lucky to have found a centre that truly puts kids before anything else. The staff go above and beyond, communicate clearly and thoroughly and are passionate about early childhood education. Can't say enough good things - thank you to Amy and the team!

My daughter has been at this centre for 4 years now and the staff are amazing. Most of the staff have been there for years and they are so caring. The kindergarten educators are fantastic. The centre provides daily updates and stories on what the are doing and they even provide you with a weekly programme on what the children will be doing and learning and weekly menu. The Centre Director Miss Amy is always in the centre and happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend.

Goodstart Carindale ticks all the boxes with good facilities and good food, but what really makes this centre amazing is the staff. The staff are truly exceptional. It makes for a happy environment, where the children feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. My son and daughter went there (my daughter will start grade 4 and son will start prep in 2020). My son says he is sad to leave even though he is excited about starting school because he will miss the teachers so much; and my daughter says she loves the teachers there and will always remember her time there.

Goodstart Carindale is a well maintained and looked after centre with excellent care facilities that has a true family feel. I have been apart of the Goodstart Carindale community for over 4 years with both my children attending the centre from 15months old and I cannot recommend their service enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful and attend to all children with the same kindness and care, aiming to build individual relationships with each child, which was achieved with both my children who now share bonds with all the teachers and staff throughout the centre. The centre is constantly looking at ways they can better their service and participate where they can in helping the surrounding community. One thing I love is they review their food menus regularly to ensure the children are receiving nutritious meals throughout the day, taking onboard any input from the centre families. If you are looking for an early learning centre that has staff who actually care about your child's development Goodstart Carindale is for you. The centre isn't huge and therefore can provide the individual care that your child deserves, and you will get what you pay for. I wouldn't look at any other centre, Highly recommend.

This is an amazing centre. Being a small centre, the children know and feel comfortable with all the educators, and there is a great sense of belonging. The educators and staff are nurturing, engaging and intelligent - they never cease to create new and fresh learning experiences for the children. I will have all three of my children at the centre next year and I have every confidence that they will be safe, engaged and nurtured.

Wonderful Staff, great facilities and very warm atmosphere. When my daughter moved to this daycare, educators made sure to make her feel at home. She learned so much in this one year. I would recommend this Daycare for anyone around this area.

Goodstart Carindale excels at all that they do.

You feel this instantly when you walk in the doors and get a warm welcome from Amy (Centre Director). Amy is across everything, interested in hearing from you, listens so well, and gets back to queries so quickly. I always enjoy my time chatting with Amy and I can say without a doubt that she brings a smile to my day. :-) There is always an extra level of care and support given to our family and Amy is so passionate about what she does and is good at it! Amy is a wonderful CD and cares for her family at Carindale. ♡

I feel the team works so well and cohesively at Carindale and create a wonderful sense of belonging with all the children. This is helped by the smaller size of the centre and the closeness of the staff. Facilities are fantastic with plenty of outside equipment and inside activities. Food is healthy, nutritious, fresh and the menu sounds delicious and is creative.

We are so excited that our twin daughters will be starting in the toddler room soon, especially with gorgeous Amanda, Tanya & Nina. Our 3y.o. started in this room and there is so much thought in planning and ensuring a smooth transition, even when I am an existing family, I haven't been forgotten in welcoming information on the room, routines and educators.

The pre-kindy room is also fantastic and we really like that in being a small centre that there is as an opportunity for kids to mix from two to around four. There is a wonderful focus on culture, music, alphabet, counting, science, art, cooking, sport and emotional intelligence. There are options for extra activities like Superkidz and we like that the staff do yoga with the kids after.

Our 3 y.o. has grown into a strong, independent, intelligent, confident, kind and funny young girl with the guidance and nurturing of the Goodstart Carindale educators.

We look forward to seeing her grow further with Kali and Aziza in the Kindy room; and having all three of our daughters at Goodstart Carindale.

For the last 14 years or more my children have attended this centre. My eldest who is now 18 started at this centre and now my youngest who is almost 5 is preparing to graduated Kindy at the centre for Prep next year. The director, Miss Amy and her team of educators are our second family. I know 200% that my children have being loved and cared for just like I would if i had the privilege of staying home. The education and care surpasses my own expectations. Leaving of a morning is stress free and pick up of an afternoon is delightful. Im offered a take away coffee on drop offs and even a breakfast bar on the run. This centre is literally my " extended family" andf has supported me more then my own extended family have. Even in financial difficulty paying fees Miss Amy and head office have been understanding and worked along with me in those difficult time. Im dreading leaving the centre at the end of the year.. I wish my daughter could stay for her schooling years. I can highly recommend this centre, 200/100. No other centre can compare! x

I can not recommend good start learning enough to all parents. The teachers are so patient and passionate about what they do and my son doesn’t want to go home at the end of each day! The food they provide is nutritious and a great variety. My son is in kindy year now and he has learnt quite a lot of things with Miss Aziza and miss Karley.

My children love the staff and facilities at goodstart carindale. The educators are knowledgeable and caring and the centre has a fantastic atmosphere. Would highly recommend this centre.
