This is one of the most outstanding and extensive historical collections we have seen. Allan, the curator was very helpful and friendly offering many insights to the various displays. This is a must visit when in Childers.

Had the most amazing time! It was so great to hear first hand from Allan about his experiences. He has such an amazing knowledge of everything in his museum. His passion for what he does is inspiring and he even took us around the museum and shared his stories about everything which made it such a personal experience. I left the museum with a new appreciation for history and I will most definitely be back!

So many things to see! Allan, a lovely gentleman, very passionate about militiary history and providing information. Well worth a visit but allow plenty of time.

$5 entry and with the amount of quality memorabilia in there it is very well worth it. Great way to spend an 40/60min in childers.

Sadly I travelled from Bargara to visit and it was shut even though it was saying open on a Monday.
Very disappointed as I just wasted my time driving all the way out and back.
