Fiona and Ben and Glenbrook Cinema were amazing for my event this weekend. I was dealing with Fiona via email and she was always helpful and prompt with her replies.

On the night of the event, everything went off without a hitch. Ben and Fiona helped the night go smoothly and my family friends had an amazing time watching Grease with the cinema all to ourselves.

We were late arriving to the cinema after dinner, but it was no problem for Ben and Fiona and they got us all set up and settled quickly.

I want to say a huge thank you to both Fiona and Ben, you made my 40th truly an unforgettable experience and everyone was raving about their night for days after!

I look forward to coming back to the cinema (I have been a few times) to watch some flicks in the future. I always have a great time and the atmosphere is really lovely. The price is cheap from the movie tickets to the popcorn and drinks too.

I highly recommend Glenbrook Cinema and I love that you also get to support a local business too!

The staff are friendly, relaxed and helpful, It's a lovely one screen cinema that offers plenty of new releases. I enjoyed Migration on this visit. The ads weren't too long. The kid in front of me needed a cushion, which were available at the back of the cinema, but it didn't block my view as the seats were well positioned on a slope.

Great little boutique cinema with outstanding staff and service.

Why do cheap Tuesday at a multiplex when you can have a better experience for even cheaper everyday?

Regularly showing Indie, art house, documentary etc. movies that the big chains won't show.

Keep a lookout for regular old movies only available on streaming these days. Die Hard -
2 days out from 2023 Christmas was a highlight.

Nice quite and small cinema. None of the seats are too close or far. Also my ticket included popcorn which is always a nice addition. $30 for two people and popcorn you just don't get that Anywhere else.

I love the classics. My partner and I recently saw Rear Window with the decor fitting with posters of the classic actors. You are greeted by staff with candies and classic hand made chic tops and popcorn are available 😋 Highly recommend! And showing this Christmas is It’s a Wonderful Life’ 🥰

We went and saw Die Hard, a movie originally released in 1988. Parts of this theatre have yet to move on - in a good way. Prices are about the same - 14$ for a movie, choc top and popcorn along with Pepsi and a coffee was just 20$. The choc top was mint, had a frozen gummy mint leaf on top and really good mint ice cream. They also had some adult beverages which were also very reasonable.

The theatre was small, it’s seating from the 80s - not recliners but not recliner prices. While there is a danger that you sit behind the freakishly tall person with sunnies on his head, the atmosphere is magic and reminds one of some of the benefits of coming to a theatre. You should order your tickets online to reserve your seats but you can pick these up at the counter as well - but the line does get busy. There are also discounts if you want to see more than one feature or if you are a member.

The service here was great - little things like handing out mintys at the end of the movie as we are on our way out were awesome and harken back to a simpler or at least less hectic time. This was a great visit - definitely recommend!

I check regularly to see if Glenbrook Cinema are playing classic films, and their selections rarely disappoint! From Jurassic Park to Vertigo, Ghostbusters to Casablanca - it's always a wonderful experience that harkens back to the golden age of cinema.

The team here do a wonderful job to make people feel welcome, and the prices for tickets and concessions are so very reasonable compared to the big cinema chains.

Just be aware, it's not an IMAX screen with teeth-shattering volume. It's a locally run, family-owned, independent business, doing what they do because they love it.

Lovely local cinema. Worth joining VIP membership for discounts. The salted caramel choc tops are really good. They have cushions for kids if needed.

When I don't go here to see a movie I often come in just to grab a choctop. Great vintage cinema with friendly staff. Come and support an independent cinema!
