Isis District State High School

I visited this school from Brisbane recently while I was travelling to Rockhampton. I was very impressed with the level of maturity the students displayed while I was visiting and were very welcoming of me and my group. From an outside point of view, this school appears to be a great option for high school students in the area.

School was founded in 1961 and unfortunately with the rise of the "wrong" ISIS, all the reviews are parodies. I never knew this place existed until I saw the ISIS Bus Service buses.

Good learn place

Tried to go to this school last year in February after moving from brisbane, was told that i’m too old to finish year 10 but couldn’t do year 11 because the kids had already started getting there points and it would be “to hard for you to catch up” which firstly was very rude considering that im well capable of catching up and should’ve been given a chance to catch up. Was also told a guidance councillor would call us after my interview but it’s been a whole year and still no phone call?

I then found out through a couple kids at this school that they didn’t start getting there points till the middle of the year, so why was i denied access of continuing my education?

The school allows bullying and makes the students feel bad about themselves. When I went there, it was nothing but hell, all bullies were defended and barely any support for those struggling.

All schools are the same, simply dreadful
