Okami Japanese Restaurant

Great service, great price and great food. Came for lunch around 1pm and Food came out so quick. Enjoyed my time here and will be back :)

This store will always be a favorite of mine. My partner and I had our engagement dinner here years ago. They are the kindest most caring people. The chefs cook amazing food and the whole restaurant has an amazing vibe. More restaurants have staff like this. Just kinda genuine people always looking out for their customers and making the most amazing food.

Great food, lots of options, excellent customer service, and free parking next to the building.

It’s been a while since I visited Okami Restaurant and I’ve been to different locations in NSW to eat in Okami. But my most favorite is Penrith branch and Pennant Hill Branch. Reasons why?! here..

We didn’t booked a table last Tuesday and just showed up in the Penrith branch as walked in, to my surprised they’re very busy even Tuesday night. We were accommodate by Ali, which later we know shes the Manager of the branch. We requested for corner table which she gave us and made us more happy to seat and eat.

So booking a table online is essential!

We were introduced to the menu and how the ordering works and even the speciality food you may asked directly from the staff.

We recommend you to try: Beef Carpacio (Fav), Miso Beef (Fav), Karaage Chicken, Mushroom Salad, Cooked Prawn (Fav), Sushi and Sashimi Platter (Fav) dont forget to ask for extra sashimi.. Yakiniko Beef (Fav) and Prawn Gyoza.

If you’re a vegetarian or vegan they also have good recommendations for you to try on.

For the dessert, We recom to try: Black Sesame and Match Icecream. You are allowed to order everything in the dessert menu since 1 person can have 1 of each dessert but we decided to have 1 of each only a total of 4 dessert to try on.

For the drinks, We recom to try: Mocktails but most likely the Mojito Mocktail drink.. very refreshing and sweet. They have tea’s served as well but not my appetite for that night.

We were surprised that the chef walked in to our table and ask how was the food… we are very pleased to Anish or Anis (not sure) about this experience. He offered to follow up our orders which is good, maybe he came to our table because we seated near the kitchen table 34 i think.

The price was worth it for a buffet freshly cooked meal. Big thanks to the manager Ali for checking on us… looking forward to see and try another branch!

Greeted by friendly staff as soon as we arrived, they explained how the ordering and the all you can eat buffet works, and within minutes plates of food started arriving. We had a large group, with babies and children and all were catered for quite well. We ordered almost everything on the menu and everything was above expectations. For me the particular highlights were the Sashimi and Takoyaki. Will visit again.

Great value for money! Food was delicious and very prompt to the table. Drink service was a bit slow although they were very busy. Prawn tempura batter a little thick but everything else was great!

What a pleasant surprise l had interstate visitors we when on a Sunday evening diner. The restaurant was full we had the best Japanese meal l can remember. The staff were flat out, the service was very good the food was excellent. It was a fixed price of $39.00. You order from the menu, this restaurant is all-you-can-eat. I will be back again soon.

Japanese All you can eat for just under 40 (even less for Sunday lunch). Food is served hot and fresh. Tastes really yum. what more can you ask for. Highly recommended and will definitely go back.

Drinks not included in the price. they have a good selection of mocktails, beers, sake and soft drinks. price is fairly reasonable.

Restaurant is nice and clean too.

Everything we tried is really nice. But the favourite for us would be sashimi, prawn gyoza and prawn tempura.

This is my all time favourite place to dine , I come here every year for my birthday. The food is always fresh and delicious, the all you can eat option is good value for money and every dish is full of flavour. The service is great too , I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price.

Food was amazing quality especially for the price. Really great value! Our waitress was so attentive and efficient and we never needed to call her over as she was always checking up on us.
The only points of concern I would mention is the presentation of the food could have been a little bit neater, and we were sat near the kitchen and there was a point during our meal where we could hear every bang and crash from the kitchen, and it was very loud and overwhelming. Maybe some more sound proofing or curtains to muffle the noise?
Overall an amazing time we were so happy with the experience!

This place was amazing everything was fresh and tasted amazing I got to try things I normally wouldn't try it was great it was very very busy but the staff were still very polite I will definitely be coming back here!!! The Miso steak is definitely god tier and the chicken curry so good

Fantastic, would definitely recommend. It's a great family friendly all you can eat with lots of options and portion sizes. The food is delicious and the service is friendly and fast. A great spot for dinner.

This place has redeemed Okami Pennant Hills. Service made a big difference in here. We were served by Aly who always checks on our table, all orders were delivered with extras.
Great experience, overall, far better than Pennant Hills.

I have gone to a lot of restaurants, and i will go to a lot of restaurants.

Nothing quite touches the heart like Okami does.

The food is great, the staff is brilliant, the manager is lovely and the service is next level.

When i had seen that the price was only $34.80 i genuinely could not bring myself to believe it.

I have been to sushi bars in the city and spent over $1000 between me and my friends happily, and i must admit the quality of okami is certainly up there.

The Chicken Karaage, Beef Carpaccio, Fried Udon and of course the sushi and sashimi platter are some of the best items on the menu.

I come here about once a week with my Fiancé and we always will.

Cosy place and fairly good price for all you can eat. Dishes are well presented. Good to enjoy the homemade Matcha icescream as your final note.

We’ve been here twice now. The food is great, price affordable and service is great. On both occasion we were very happy with good food and service! All 3 server who serve us were excellent. They were very easy to talked to and made us feel comfortable.Specially this girl name Aly. On both occasion she welcome us and made us felt comfortable. Well done Okami and to your staff. Very worth it for an all you can eat restaurant 😄 A lot of japanese dishes to choose from 🤩🥰 My favourite dishes were takoyaki, those thin slices of meat (😭forgot what it was😂) and the potato croquette. They also have desserts; black sesame and matcha icecream and matcha daifuku 😄😄. Was really nice to end the meal with those as they were served very cold. Exceptional customer service as well 😊 very, very friendly.

Attended the restaurant on a Sunday night, it quickly got very busy but the service was fantastic and the food was devine. It was our first time so my only suggestion is to order big the first round and that way the table will stay stacked with food longer and no long wait periods between rounds.

Man this place is good!!! From the food to the service. Enjoy taking the family there.

Visited here on Valentines Day. Although they were extremely busy, staff went out of their way to make it a great night. Prices were extremely reasonable and food was unreal.
