The gallery includes original art for sale, original art not for sale and prints that are affordable for the average person.

There's also a garden outside with sculptural pieces.

Loved this place! Free entry. No photos or videos inside. Really interesting art work outside as well as inside. Worth listening to the interview with John Murray on the screen. Bought the Holden On (A special tribute to the classics) coffee table book.

Well worth a visit. Lots of thoughts to see on the outside and even more on the inside. His wife is equally talented with her art vision

What a fantastic gallery. All the walls are black which highlights the brilliant colours in Johns art. Love the video of him, so much to learn about his life. No photos inside so I have included photos of his work on our travels and outside the building

Fabulous gallery by local artist & his wife. Beautiful paintings depicting Australia's gorgeous landscapes, wildlife & icons in some or some not quirky paintings. No photos or videos to be taken inside these were taken in the street, showing his talent.

Highly recommend this gallery. The artwork is amazing. Worthwhile looking around in the vicinity as well as multiple murals within walking distance. Free admission but would have happily paid for entry.

Great gallery with some absolutely amazing pieces, as well as small things to send to others if you are on the road, really love the style and his wife's photography is also really cool. Highly recommend stopping in to grab something, also a great place to go on a hot afternoon if you have time to spare.

Absolutely wonderful gallery! Gorgeous country/rural themed artworks with his unique sense of humour. You can probably get through the display in 10 mins or so, it's quite small, however if you're an art enthusiast you'll probably be in there longer. You aren't allowed to take photos inside the gallery however there's plenty of his art outside the building and around lightning ridge. Free to get in and have a look, also a good range of cards, prints, signed prints etc for sale - the hardest part is just choosing one or two to buy! Easy to find off and you can park along the street quite easily. A must do if you're in the area.

Absolutely fantastic art gallery. A must do when visiting Lightning Ridge. The gallery was impressive from the entrance to inside. Jeff also has done a number of street art around the town

Review updated June 2022. Very good local artist. Does terrific work. Australian Bush and humour themes. His works are in murals around town and Vicki's work features in the gallery as well. Well worth the visit, pieces changing always.

Loved it, bought some to take home and a gifts, was lucky enough that John was there to sign some for me.

This guy is an awesome artist he does all the local art work and surrounding towns which we have seen and love, he also has a gallery in lightning Ridge which is spectacular (no pics allowed inside). One very talented guy

In fact all around town you can spy beautiful art work and you can tell the locals are proud of this work. Very funky ally way just outside the gallery.

If you're a fan of John Murray's work, and who isn't, just keep heading north from Walgett to Lightning Ridge an opal mining town. He has his art studio there and the town has heaps of his art work around it

Loved this gallery.
The art is fun, colourful, unique, authentic and inexpensive.
We found ourselves laughing, engulfed in the art and planning our walls for purchases.
On our way back to sydney from lightning ridge to mudgee we saw the artists murals all over the little towns.
Great artist and a must do in town.
