Opal Street Cafe

Best cafe in town.They serve Allpress coffee which says enough on its own.
They also have a great selection of foods ready to go too such as bacon egg rolls, yogurt, cakes and ICECREAM!! The staff are great as is the location.
They've not long been open and I've been told that awnings and street decor are on the way too which will make this THE hang out spot.

Just so great to be greeted by friendly staff who genuinely want to serve you and provide an awesome experience. Prices a fantastic, there is food variety and the atmosphere is great to sit down with an iced late and watch the world go by ... thank you for the delicious coffee !

Excellent food, drinks and service.
Stopped for breakfast to go and picked up a bacon and egg roll + Berry smoothie. B&E roll was at the pricier end of the scale considering it was from the window, but it was 110% worth it. Great tasting smokey bacon, egg and relish on a brioche roll. Will definitely return next time I pass through.

It's a great coffee shop that actually caters for the good people of Lightning Ridge. Until they opened, getting a coffee was an ordeal. Lack of hours, lack of care, and lack of service. The old adage about running a successful business - find the business in an area giving lousy service, set up next to them and give good service. That's what Opal Street Cafe has done. They have great staff, good coffee, tasty treats and open from early morning to afternoon.

OMG Finally some great coffee. It's so hard to get a great coffee on he road, and it's usually a small place that produces a great cup. If your in LR or just passing through then this is the place for your caffeine requirements.

Nice coffee, friendly service. Take away coffee comes with a little biscuit. Not Merlo coffee, but still pretty good.

Stopped in to refuel before hitting the road again, coffee, breakfast rolls and croissant all delicious, very friendly and they even refilled our thermos with a smile and a chat!

Very good coffee. Have to go later in the day next time as the seats outside were in the sun but the coffee was great. More grab and go type of food.
Good place to watch the world go past.

Excellent coffee! I’ve been travelling for about three months around Australia and this is the best takeaway coffee I have had on my trip so far. It was also produced under pressure with the one staff member dealing with several customers. Well done!

Great spot 👌. We were flooded in for 23 days and this modern , contemporary Cafe was excellent. Eric was a great ambassador for himself and the business. Well done indeed.
