Springs Road Kangaroo Island

Beautiful day at the Springs Road winery, we loved our wine tasting and cheeseboard! Lovely service from our staff member, she talked us through all the wines and we had a lovely chat with her. She went out of her way to assist us, really recommended this relaxing day at Springs Road. We’ll be back!

Didn't take many pictures here as I was so enthralled and entertained by the lady serving us beautiful wine and giving history, culture and general knowledge of all things wine and KI - genuine experience! Loved the rose (which was the 'good' rose :) and the chardy! The cab sav was great also but we went away with the sparkling Shiraz for a KI memory. Thanks for a true local experience!

We arrived with a group of about 4 for wine testing. The owner welcomed us. She was very friendly and accommodating, and she ensured we were well looked after. Very knowledge with regards to the wines. They have set up a tent outside for kids with some activities stuff. Their friendly dog was also on property, so kids had fun with the dog while we enjoyed our wine testing. I look forward to enjoying the wines for the next few months.

Lovely little winery. Stopped in for an enjoyable glass of Chardonnay. Young oaked and not too dry.
Enjoyed tasting the Shiraz and its fizzy cousin.

Went for a wine tasting. The cabernet shiraz blend, shiraz and cabinet sauvingnon are excellent, my partner loved the whites and the service was outstanding. Great wine and what capped it off, they deliver, at a cost naturally international. Highly recommended.

We stopped for wine tasting and weren't disappointed. The cheeses were from king island they were delicious and the wine tasting was great. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we had a nice time discovering Springs Road wines.

Hello. 6 of us recently travelled to Kangaroo Island for some touring around, including beer, wine and Gin tasting. After a few wineries we popped in to Kangaroo Island Brewery for a paddle.
What a great bunch of people. While chatting they mentioned Springs Road Wines. We ventured there and sampled some amazing wines served by the hostess Barbi. What a gem she was, attentive to everyone and so open to discuss detals and make the visit special. We each left with an armful of wines and smiles on our faces - even a free logo tea towel :) I joined the membership group and ended up speaking to Louise the owner by phone. She explained the partner wineries and was unrushed. This is a standout winery on KI. Modest cellar but great people and if you enjoy the wine journey, have a chat with Barbi.Down to earth, works on the block, tells you about here slashung experiences and more. Go girls. What a quaint cellar door which packs a punch! I had a great time on Sunday afternoon here sampling some delicious wines and enjoying the warmth of the venue as it poured with rain outside. Great tasting selection and an accompanying range of cheeses to complement your wine

Friendly service and good wines. Definitely worth stopping by to enjoy a taste. You can also sample some of their McLaren Vale wines from their sister winery, The Battle of Bosworth.

Wonderful time tasting at Springs Road, felt very welcome, even the dogs, who had just as good a time as us adults.

The wines we tasted were very nice and Louise was very helpful. Please don't over price wines. Let everyone enjoy the wines we have in Australia. Don't make wines that we can't afford to buy please.
It was nice to buy wines from Kangaroo Island for my elderly friends who I know can't make the trip but enjoy a glass of wine. Buying them a gift from Spring Road Wines will put a smile on their faces. Thank you.

The lady whonwas running the tasting (sorry fogot her name, but was from mainland) was amazing. She made my wife, son and I feel like we were being welcomed into her own home, and then when the rest of the family arrived did the same to them.... impeccable service and the wine was amazing. Hot tip get after the Rose 😉

Great place, the lady who served us was good craic, and the wines there are arguably better than any we tasted in the Barossa. Be prepared to order some in for delivery.

I'm not normally big into wines but both the reds and the whites were all amazing. The host was delightful and very knowledgeable on the range. My partner and I enjoyed the tasting and left with quite a few bottles for later.

Found our way here after having a glass of the sparkling at the brewery down the road and had an absolutely stunning time. Our host was so charismatic I could have bought all the wines (and actually almost did)! Everything we tasted was so balanced and subtle and wines I didn't expect to enjoy (here's looking at you Chardonnay) still amazed me. We didn't try the food but I expect it would be matched perfectly given our experience. There's no way I could fit everything I wanted in my suitcase so I'm very grateful for the delivery option and very much looking forward to receiving that in the next couple of weeks!

A warm and inviting cellar door with delicious wines to top it off - especially their Chardonnay! Emma was a lovely host, she was very passionate about Springs Road Wines and the Island itself. Very helpful with assisting us with the rest of our travel plans, and Knowledgeable on SRW.
