Queenscliffe Family Hotel

Traditional Aussie pub. Nothing more nothing less. Great staff. Felt like a local first visit. Best Tooheys Old I can remember having. Locals having a banter was hilarious. Didn’t try the food unfortunately.

Went for dinner when I was in kangaroo island and it was some of the best food I had I got the ribs wings and onion rings and it was so good and tasty prices were fair and staff was nice

Lovely pub still has a country pub feel and good value high quality meals. Fisherman's basket could have had an extra piece of fish for the price as I left still hungry. I would go back 👍

My husband and I ate here 3 nights during our 5 night stay in Kingscote. Every meal we had was delicious and hot and satisfying. There isn't much available in Kingscote for Dinner, so thank goodness these guys were as good as they were! They also had an extensive menu, and the pricing was fair. Staff were super friendly and accomodating, does pay to book ahead if planning dinner after 630pm. We were early eaters so got lucky! Great job team. Thanks a bunch! 👍👍👍

There's not a lot of eating places in Kingscote for dinner. I'm glad that we found this place. The restaurant was full but we sat at the bar area to eat. The price for food is a lot more reasonable that the other big pub and very friendly staffs too. We ended up back to eat in this place a few nights in a row.

Great place to eat in Kingscote and open every night. A lot of places don’t open Monday or Tuesday. Great range of pub meals in generous portions. Tuesday is Schnitzel night so it’s wise to book ahead.

Fabulous dinner
My husband & I ate dinner here and were very happy, we chose the roast of the day (pork, steam vege, apple sauce & gravy) and grilled chicken with veges, so yum, definitely recommend this place. Service was swift and the place was full. Happy bar staff too 👍

Had a Supreme pizza for lunch which was very yummy.

Fabulous food and great service

Went with a couple of families and the whole experience was great. Our numbers changed and the staff were understanding. Food was tasty and excellent value. Staff were friendly. Heaps of locals, which is always an indicator of a good place. Highly recommended.

Good food. Friendly staff. Offers TAB, Pokies, Keno, pool table and bottleshop. Lunch is from 12pm to 2.30. Dinner from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Reservations are recommended for restaurant settings, otherwise same menu and specials available in the bar.

VERY fast service, extremely friendly staff, not too loud and has an overall great feel to it. Food tastes great as well!

Very friendly and helpful staff, and a well priced and tasty meal. Not a huge range of vegetarian/vegan options, but still more than other pubs - would go back again.

Meals were top notch and staff were friendly. The dining room/bistro seemed to be popular with the locals, so a booking is probably a good idea to avoid any disappointment.

Visitors, don't underestimate the Queenscliffe. It is truly a family hotel.
Ash, Donna and staff were unbelivebly welcoming. Fantastic service, great pub fare and locals were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back to KI and the Queenie for more drinking, eating and good pub banter.

Amazing friendly staff. Best beef schnitzel I've ever had. My husband was equally impressed with his chicken parmigiana...best he's ever eaten.

Great food and service

Lovely hotel restaurant, came here for dinner and was very impressed with the menu, especially the schnitzel menu (and the schnitzels were delicious)! Very friendly staff even when very busy. Highly recommend
