Rabbit Warren Bakery

Whilst on KI for a couple of days we went to this bakery 2 days in a row. Food is great. Beef and vegetable pastie is probably one of the best I've ever had and I have tried dozens of bakeries in SA which have the best pasties in Australia. The custard tarts are great as well.

We stopped here on our way to the admirals arch and it was a really nice friendly bakery that had recently moved to a different location and we walked in and the ladies behind the counter greeted us and were really nice throughout the whole experience I ordered the cinnamon scroll and it was really good and they have drinks there in a fridge for u to grab and buy and about 8 of us all got food and it was really good with coffee aswell.

Wonderful place to have breakfast, top quality food and great service. Very happy.

Pepper pie was really good, beautiful tender chunks of steak with a well balanced pepper gravy. The cheese kransky was also excellent. Will be returning to try their other fair.
Ok i returned recently (actually twice) and l now have an all out new best pie ever. The guinness pie is by far the best ive tasted. Ever. Picture attached i couldn't believe it. Just about need a knife to cut the beautiful steak chunks i asked for 6 cold to take away and share the experience with others. 👍👍

This bakery is best for coffee and pie toast whatever you need for breakfast, lunch it’s the best one we stayed in Kingscote for a week and this was the first place in the morning we used to come. And the customer service is in its top very respectful and lovely people.

Everything was fresh and the service was great. All good. 🙂

Very nice. I had a chicken and mushroom triangle & my husband had a curry pie.

You ought to try the Belgium Hot Chocolate, milk or dark, doesn't matter... tasty af.

One of the best mochas ever. Made with Belgian dark chocolate. And a short walk around the corner from the bakery to enjoy the view and meat pie also from bakery.

Best Belgium hot chocolate we ever had. We had them three consecutive days. Vegetarian have options as well to buy. Pies and pasties have nice big sizes. We liked the opening timings. Very friendly staff.

Yum pies and great coffe

Good spread of savoury, sweets, warm, cold, small and large bakery treats. Coffee. Kid friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating. I had an apple scroll that was made from bread dough, and they buttered it. There is no reason you shouldn’t go.

Goto for many, definately a fav of mine, many good options although I tried the Hawaiian pie yesterday and definitely not a fan, think they need to go back to the drawing board for this one in my opinion.. each to their own though as always. 👍

Very scrumptious food. Lovely lady served us. Hubby had apricot scroll plus pasty. I had last spinach & feta cheese slice plus last Zucchini &carrot cake. Highly recommend 👌
