Southern Cross Care Ozanam Residential Aged Care

I would give the whole staff at Garran residential care 10 stars if I could. They are caring, efficient and professional.
When our mum finally needed to move to a nursing home we chose this place. The factors we took into consideration were
1. Manager Teddie was very accessible. We didn't have to wait for a tour or formal showing. I got an appointment the same day to walkin and check the facility. I noticed the place was clean and smelled nice. There is a personal touch about this place. The residents looked happy and clean. There are acitives and physio on site. Everyone was very welcoming.
2. Comfortable and airy rooms with windows overlooking a nice garden full of trees and plants. A small kitchenette and tv to keep mum occupied and for us to make a cuppa.
We never regretted our decision for a second. Mum was treated like their own and was made very comfortable. Its a small facility so has a personal touch and caring staff.
Sadly mum was only there for a short time but in her final moments, we as family were made very comfortable and was effortless. Pallative team are like angels of mercy and we are forever so grateful for the care provided.

I just wish my mum had longer at Ozanam. The staff and care were faultless. Thank you for the dignity and respect you showed our lovely mum. You can't know how much it meant to us.
