Friendly Grocer

We must do everything we can to keep the corner stores alive, and this is a prime example of one. Nice selection of groceries, not too expensive, some marked down bargains occasionally and very friendly personable service. Small bootlegging selection too. Make sure you pop your head in and at least buy a bottle of wine on special :)

Lives up to its name and has a diverse range of offerings. Was searching all over for premium PB and they stock both Ridiculously Delicious and Pic's! In chunky And smooth. And Wagonga's Gusto beans too -- saved us a long hike up to EPIC one early Sat morning.

they have everything i love and i don’t care if it’s expensive because it’s my favourite grocery store. there’s an excellent little worker there named tom and he is my favourite employee, a close second is his mum. would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. it’s also right in between my psychologist and my doctor and it’s nice to visit while i’m waiting for appointments. <3

During ACT lockdown went back to our local grocer instead of Coles. This shop has the nicest people, and a great range of sophisticated and ethical foodstuffs including Freedom Farms chickens, Long Paddock eggs etc. and a horribly tempting range of wines, gin etc. Prices are a tiny bit higher, but hey, who cares when the service is superb, local, and Covid safe. Highly recommended.

Friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. I was served by the owner, who went through extra trouble to help me and offer advice. Sells some excellent local and gourmet products in the deli section, well-maintained inventory of convenience items, and great fresh produce.

The staff at the billing counter - is friendly and so helpful. Good place for a quick purchase. Reasonably stocked too.

Garran Friendly Grocer has a great range of products, often higher quality than the supermarkets, at fair prices, available for extended hours, and indeed, a very friendly service from very nice people.
