The Sebel Quay West Suites Sydney

Great location, great room & view. We travelled with 2 young children and glad the sofa bed was already made for us!
All the staff were very lovely, especially Rita. We were there on a busy period (Taylor Swift concert weekend) and they handled that very well. Breakfast were good & staff at the breakfast were lovely. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the check-in process was swift. The room was clean, and this marks my third stay at this wonderful establishment. I had booked a city view room and was pleasantly surprised to have a fantastic view of the Harbour Bridge. It made the stay with my friends even more enjoyable.

The hotel's location is excellent, with many great restaurants within a 5 to 7-minute walk. Additionally, it's conveniently close to Circular Quay and the Opera House. I'm already looking forward to my next visit

Good sized 2 bedroom apartment with all the facilities needed. Fantastic check in experience with a very friendly staff member. We arrived early and only had a short wait until a room was ready for us. The view was amazing. Harbour bridge & the Opera House looked great at night

The perfect hotel located right in the Sydney CBD that offers apartments with both Opera House and Harbour view. Our family was so satisfied to stay there for 4 nights.

Fully equipped apartment with kitchen. Super comfy sofa and mattress. Excellent services. Convenient location.

Had an amazing time here. The hotel is in a fabulous location, just a few minutes walk from Circular Quay, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The views from the room were stunning. The breakfasts were good and the facilities in the room were excellent. The observation deck and pool at the top are good - in short, next time I stay in Sydney it will be nowhere else!

This hotel is in a great location, just a few short blocks to Circular Quay, and for the price we paid the amenities provided were fantastic.

The shower pressure was lower than I would have liked, but this seems to be pretty consistent throughout many hotels. Which is a pity.

This is our second time staying at the Sebel Quay West and it did not disappoint. The iconic Sydney view is just so special. We loved watching the cruise ships come in to the harbour in the morning and watching the summer storms at night. The staff are so helpful. I really hope we don’t have to wait a whole year before our next stay.

What we liked:
1) Panoramic windows with awesome view of the Sydney Harbour in our 2-bedroom apartment 1406.
2) Spacious apartment that was clean when we checked-in.
3) Well-equipped kitchen
4) Large-enough (7.5kg) washer and dryer
5) Pleasant and helpful front-desk staff
6) Water pressure of the showers were strong enough
7) Sofa-bed was made and ready for us when we checked in
8) Great location near Circular Quay train / ferry / bus station. 20-min train ride to the Sydney International Airport.

What we would have preferred:
a) Defrosted freezer in the mini-fridge. The freezer was caked with ice when we checked in.
b) Better calibrated kitchen sink tap - the water gushes out with great force with the slightest opening of the tap, causing unnecessary splashing everywhere and on the clothes.

A comfortable stay at Sebel Quay West in Jan'24. We stayed in one of the older 1 Bedroom King Bed city view apartments and it was very comfortable. The Airconditioning worked well which we were thankful for, the room was clean and quiet on the 12th floor, the kitchen was clean and serviceable with a hotplate, oven & microwave available. The shower in the bathroom was great, with a great water flow at really toasty temps if you like a nice hot shower. Pool, Spa and Sauna on level 23 were all well kept and in good working order, water level was around 1.2 meters so most children from around 7 or 8 can stand safety if they want to, water temp was comfortable enough for an hour without getting cold, spa was big enough for 4 or 5 people and the Sauna was a treat, hot, steamy and very comfortable.

Checkin was a breeze, shout out to the reception lady with initials CY I think.

The room that we had can still see the harbour bridge and the water near the Fishmarket. Great view. Spacious room. There is a dryer and laundry inside the bathroom should anyone stay longer and need to wash their clothes.

If there is an option to have a separate spa-bath and shower we may ask for it next time. Overall, we are happy with the room, view and of course the location. Will consider staying here again next time.

Loved the room the minute I entered. Great views. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Walking distance to almost everything and close to train stations.
Housekeeping did an exceptional job, reception staff were helpful. The whole stay was made very easy. Will definitely stay again

Definitely would recommend this hotel. It is close to all within walking distance beautiful room very comfortable bedding, gorgeous views of the rocks and the Sydney opera house.

Checkin was quick and easy. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to checkin early after our long flight from the U.S.

We had an amazing view, had 2 balconies, and had the perfect side to see the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The room was spacious for 3 adults and 1 toddler, had plenty of space, the kitchen was pretty handy, and had a proper dining table.

Walking distance to Circular Quay, Opera House, and Tram station for easy transport access.

The receptionist and concierge (Louis) was very helpful with our luggage. Everyone was friendly and with excellent customer service.

The room is a bit outdated, but understandable as the building is quite old. The view, staff and cleanliness makes up for it 😊

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful well looked after apartment. The kitchen had everything you needed.
We enjoyed our drinks in the bar which was quiet and relaxing after busy day shopping.
Very easy to find your way around without having to take the car.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in August 2023. We were very pleased. Staff friendly. Housekeeping excellent. View from our room, spectacular. Could sit for hours enjoying it. We had fun taking lots of photos and time lapse videos from our windowsill. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and spacious. The kitchen allowed us to eat casual breakfasts in the room, that was wonderful for us. Only room for improvement- gym was a little small and dated and the pool was often crowded and too loud. Location is ideal- close to the Rocks and public transport. We highly recommend the property!

From being greeted at the door by Louis, to the excellent service at the reception desk, my stay at the Sebel was fantastic. My room had an incredible view of the harbour bridge and Barangaroo.
I had a minor issue where I couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer in the room and this was resolved in minutes by one of the porters. Thank you!

Requested a view of both the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House and wow did we get what we asked for and the room was great too. Would definitely recommend stay here if your every in Sydney. Staff at reception were very friendly.

Fantastic Hotel, great location to get in and around Sydney, great facilities and breakfast was a la cart freshly cooked. Breathtaking views from our balcony. Will definitely be staying here again

Lovely 4 day solo stay to reconnect with friends and Sydney City. Perfect location. Appartment was well appointed, bistro and pool and spa area very pleasant. Gorgeous views from the pool/spa area and from my lounge area.
