We never knew much about Opals, but wanted to buy one as a memento of our trip to Cooby Pedy. Phil was amazing & gave us great insight into the various opals & types & forms.

Visited Fossil Creations on our recent trip to Coober Pedy. Phil had a lot of great information to share about his varied collection of gems and fossils. Even our 12 year old boys found it interesting! At the end we purchased a lovely opal pendant for a very reasonable price.

Phil is very generous with his rime as he shows you through his large display of gem stones and fossils. He also has some lovely, reasonably priced pendants and rings. Worth a visit.

Beyond genuine and friendly. Phil has some absolutely stunning pieces available for very reasonable prices.

What an amazing personal collection - fossils, opals, stone, gems and so much more! Would 100% recommend having a chat and checking out what he has to offer while you're in town.

We ended up having a wonderful tour today, this is the owner’s house, not a regular shop. He is a miner and takes visitors through his collection, answers all the questions. This is a tour with a personal touch, enjoyed. Also it was great to visit a local person dugouts.

We had a really interesting tour today and learnt so much about Opals, gemstones and fossils. We also purchased a beautiful pendant to take back to WA something I will treasure always from our trip to Coober Pedy. Thank you !

Bought two opals and a ring for a wonderful price. He was very genuine person who gave his honest opinions about everything he sold. There was a great variety of opals and other stones that we got a very thorough run down of before making a decision.

Had a great tour of phils rock/fossil collection,he was filled with alot of knowledge and had a beautiful section of opal and rock jewellery to sell would highly recommend anyone to visit
