Stayed the night here in our motorhome, great place, extremely clean toilets & showers.
Did the mine tour with family loved it, learnt a lot, the grand kids had a good time learning too.
If you are in Coober Pedy, I would highly recommend staying here and doing the mine tour.

Had the best stay just out of town. Underground tv room and free wifi. Jason and his wife are so friendly and accompanying. Showers and toilets are clean. Laundry and washing machines. Underground mine tour was really good. Jason is so knowledgeable. A big thank you to Jason and his wife for a wonderful stay. MICK AND SUE COLLINS

Slightly outside Cobber Peddy, worth the shade if you camping. Super clean facilities too. The tour is fascinating as Jason interestingly shared his stories and knowledge.

Quirky, like a lot of Coober Pedy. Friendly with its own underground mine tour in the CP. (Done at night). Good value for money and spacious. Stayed in motor home and a night's accom underground. The alien feel of a "Mad Max" landscape is all around you. A little out of town but it's uniqueness makes it I believe, a better option than the in-town CP.

We loved our stay at Ribas. We had 4 vans that we got into under shade powered sites. We were told in town that the owners were very new but we couldn’t tell. They ran a lovely facility. Given the heat of Coober Pedy a pool would be amazing but that was all it was missing. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay in a powerless caravan site. It was great because there was flexibility on where to park within the selected area, unlike other caravan parks where you get a designated bay and are squashed up next to your neighbours. We parked our van to overlook the mines. The free hot showers were great. Beautiful desert landscaping. Less than a 5 minute drive to get into town. We also went on the Mine tour and that felt very authentic and not jazzed up just for tourism. We could ask questions and our guide Jason would give us real life stories and experiences which made it that much more fascinating! It felt more private than staying in town and it meant that we could enjoy the landscape everytime we drove in.

Stayed here in our camper a few nights whilst exploring the area. Really lovely place to stay, super clean bathrooms, kitchen etc and the tv room was such a nice surprise. Daryl who works there was lovely and friendly too, a real gem of a place, thank you for having us.

Ah man it was beautiful there. The staff weren’t great and we saw a biker gang go down that road so definitely isn’t safe. But it is still one of the cooler experiences in my life.

We stayed here on two different occasions. Both times we had a positive experience. They cater for every need: powered sites, unpowered sites, underground camping, underground rooms. Being just out of the town, it is very quiet.
The amenities were well kept and clean. Their customer service is outstanding. If you're staying at Coober Pedy, this is the place!

Very unique accommodation with clean toilets, basic camp kitchen, and tv/wifi room. We camped underground for two nights and are planning to return next week. The evening tour of the opal mine is amazing… Jason is very funny and this tour was our favourite part of Coober Pedy!

So peaceful! Only 5ks out of town and thats a great thing!! It’s so calm and quiet here; beautifully maintained we have been so grateful to have stayed here and it would be our first choice on our return visit. Hot showers included in booking fees, paid laundry, free outdoor kitchen facilities shade cloth covered sites! Everyone has been so friendly and our kids have loved it here! We will be back!

Great camp, accommodates for a variety of set-ups. Shaded area for vans with power (no water). Unpowered area, underground area for camping & cabins. Underground TV/chillout area with wifi. Very clean amenities. Shaded camp kitchen, c/w flyscreen. Highly recommend staying here when in Coober Pedy. 😎

This place is a gem. Wasn’t sure what to expect at first but it was a great location in Coober Pedy. Quite and peaceful. Tour was amazing and thank you for allowing us to see your home. Definitely will be recommending.

Nice caravan park not far from town. Really quiet and awesome hosts. We just left after staying two nights

People will complain about water pressure in showers etc. But honestly, you’re in the outback. It doesn’t rain here much and there’s no massive storage dams like the cities are accustomed to

The highlight of this place was the tag along tour. Jason told a great story about opal mining and his experience. He shows you the mine on site at the caravan park and also his own family dugout home. Jason takes you through the noodling fields as well as a place where a demonstration of how cutting and polishing is shown

On our tour he had his young daughter with him and she was an absolute delight and provided some great directions, and a little bit of humour as well

Definitely a place I would highly recommend

Absolute treasure, hidden nicely just outside of town.
Fantastically quiet, no town noise. Incredible amenities, hot free showers, be mindful water (is pumped in from a bore) is very precious out there.
Superbly clean amenities and park. Fantastic shaded cover for van.
Safe to leave whilst touring around Coober Pedy etc.
Huge scenic, screened, very clean camp kitchen.
Underground TV room, has fabulous area for children, adult relaxation or TV.
Sunrise & Sunsets are incredible.
Very welcoming, friendly staff.
Highly recommend, best value for $$.
You will not be disappointed.
I will be back.
Thankyou Riba's

Great place, spotless facilities. Beautiful sunsets. We did the mine night tour at Riba’s & it was amazingly insightful. Our host/owner was so knowledgeable and we left with an educated appreciation of opal mining . We had a lot of laughs too. Absolutely loved it & highly recommend.

We didn't stay in the van park, but I certainly would if we had the time.
We stayed at the Comfort Inn because it was our wedding anniversary.
We did the tour, which was fantastic. The host had a very dry sense of humour and we loved his his educational stories. He was gracious enough to let us see his underground home. We had a blast!
