What a lovely place for the great Chinese food, love the owner being so sweet and welcoming.
Feeling so relaxed here.
Also the food was pretty great. The prawn omelette taste so fluffy and so many prawns in it.
Eggplant with garlic sauce is delicious, so great with steam rice. Also the restaurant look like old Chinese restaurant, give it an extra authentic feel.

Amazing service staff was super friendly. The price was very reasonable. We didn't had so much time as we were heading sydney from Melbourne so we order through phone and told her we will be reaching there by 8:16pm. We went there the food was ready. It was so delicious I will definitely visit this place when I am going to Melbourne next time. Thank you so much for the food and service.

Food was delicious, fresh, and of a good quality. Flavourful.
The wait staff (2 ladies) were very welcoming and attentive and made my and my partner’s time there very pleasant.

Last minute decision to come here. I am not really a fan of chinese however our experience at the Kim Wah was exceptional. The lady that served us was so nice even though it was clear that she was doing the job of two people. Nice decor and lots to look at. The food was hot and cooked to perfection. We shared delicious dumplings, taste packed chicken and corn soup, szechuan chicken and mango beef. The Chicken and beef came with rice as lunch time specials for $15. Bargain! Worth 5+ stars.

Good quality westernised Chinese food, the deep fried quail was really nice. Large menu (like most other Chinese places), with all the usual dishes. Would recommend.

Kim Wah is a hidden gem and a favourite among locals. Our server was a ray of sunshine and the cuisine is truly special.

Stopped in Benalla on way home to Melbourne. Fantastic food… the home made dimsims were delicious and we shared a yummy lunch box of satay chicken and veg with fried rice.
So much better than any Chinese food we’ve had for ages. Friendly service also! We will be back next time we pass through.

I had the beef and black bean with vegetables here the other day (10/1). Very tasty and the beef was tender to the point it melted in my mouth. This was my first time having a dish here, definitely not disappointed! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a decent feed.

Caught up with friends Sat night, even though they were busy, staff were excellent and we were served promptly. As always the meals were fabulous and served with a smile.

Always service with a smile regardless of Tash being run off her feet, she takes it all in her stride, nothing is ever a bother. Food was great. Best cappuccino in town too.

With a full house and very limited table staff. The service, waiting time, atmosphere, and food, was excellent. Well done to the girls on table service, you done a great job. We were a table of Eleven and we were very happy and amazed at how well you managed the service. Never heard any complaints from other tables either. Well done all concerned. Yes. We will be back and will highly recommend Kim Wah Chinese Restaurant.
